CoOperative Institute of Health Sciences Thalassery Faculty

The faculty in the department consists of approximately 9 to 10 staff members, primarily aged between their 30s and 40s. They are well-qualified, with a minimal qualification of a post-graduate degree in Medical Microbiology, and many have completed or are pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field. Faculty members include those with clinical experience, enhancing their ability to provide informative insights into clinical aspects. There are a total of 7 lecturers assigned to the course, and faculty members are noted for their effective teaching methods, encouraging student participation and addressing doubts.

Each student is assigned a faculty mentor, and while some faculty members are approachable and supportive, others are perceived as strict. Despite varying levels of supportiveness, the faculty is praised for their teaching quality and for promoting extra-curricular activities. Some faculty members are young and have recently completed their MPT.
