BIBT B.Sc. Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Biology/ Mathematics/ Agriculture) with 50% marks from a recognized board in Rajasthan and 60% marks from outside Rajasthan.
- As per the University of Rajasthan norms, if seats remain vacant in the college, the girl candidate is given reduction of 5% in minimum percentage for admission.
- Reservation for ST/SC, Sports and Physically handicapped as per the norms of University of Rajasthan.
Note: Students who have passed their last qualifying exam either in 2022 or after, and have not taken admission anywhere in the interim period, will be considered new entrants. Such Candidates must give an undertaking on a 50 rupees non-judicial stamp paper stating that they have not taken admission anywhere. Candidates who have passed their last qualifying exam in 2021 or before will not eligible for admission. Girls are exempted from this rule as per College Education guidelines

BIBT M.Sc. Eligibility
Eligibility for Biotechnology – B.Sc. Degree (Pass course or Hons.) under the 10+2+3 scheme with Agriculture/Botany/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Pharmacy/ Zoology as one of the subjects.
Eligibility for Microbiology – B.Sc. Degree (Pass course or Hons.) under the 10+2+3 scheme with Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ Genetics/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Integrated Microbiology/ Integrated Biotechnology as one of the subjects.

BIBT M.Sc. Selection Criteria
- Admission to the course is based on academic record of qualifying examination.
- Seats will be reserved for S.C., S.T., OBC (except creamy layer), SBC, Kashmiri Migrants and Differently abled applicants as per Government of Rajasthan policy/ as per directions of Hon’ble High Court of Rajasthan.
- All admission will be provisional till the applicant completes all the formalities required.

Addmission to BIBT is done through online mode. For admission in UG courses candidate is required to appear for Biotechnology Entrance Cum Scholarship Test (BEST) conducted by the university.
