Study environment was very good,College is full of greenary which gives student pleasant mind for study
Teaching faculty, Teachers in Guntur medical college were very expertised and visual.They wil keep their full heart to explain the topic,As they too know Guntur medical college is full of talented students
Architecture of the college which was built earlier was excellent,And tells the founders of different fields of medicine

Dislikes

Bathrooms need to be cleaned regularly,And the broken doors,commades of washrooms need to be repaired soon
Canteen also need to be improved,food availability is very poor in the canteen
Hostel food need to be improved,Because for good study good food is also important

After the 4 years of MBBS study,we have to work in our Government hospital as internship for 1 year Where we can get good experience across different medical fields We will gain good confidence on ourselves in internship to treat patients and different cases We can get a stay fund of nearly 25 thousand monthly for our work Not about money but it was a nice time to know the value of Treatment

Likes

The faculty is much more helpful and available
The college is a prestigious college with all the equipment
The college is pre independence college so the structure is very good

Dislikes

The college need some patch works like paint and all
The ragging in the college should be avoided
There shouldn’t be uniform that is only for the first years

Internships Opportunities:

We have 5 and half years cours we will have 1 yrs internship and we will learn everything about the patients and deal with them to provide proper medication and we will become a fine doctor by do this noble profession

Likes

Actually it is old college but eventhough it is old it looks very nice and probably i like practical labs and dissection hall and the way we are learning the cadaver.
I like the hostel facilities also and theory classes

Internships Opportunities:

I actually don't know about internship opportunities but I know about the stipend the college will give. I think From final year onwards they will give stipend and the projects also i don't know as much.

It's about 100 boys and 150 girls and it's 2 is to 3 ratio
So we talk freely have a very good communication
We support each other very good and help each other

Internships Opportunities:

Many of the students from guntur medical college will work as interns and they are provided with a salary of nearly 28,000 rupees for month and they treat well and will be available at any time at the hospital for patient services they even help us at our illness times

The great guntur medical college

College has a very good environment and good nature vibes classrooms are provided with air conditioners all the faculty are good labs are also provided with good facilities good hygiene recently all the walls are also painted for good appearance also
College premises also has canteen and union Bank is also available principle had been changed recently but he so good made our freshers day awesome we are expecting more events infront still college premises also has canteen and good washrooms facili
Hostel has a good nature with many blocks with good premisses hostel rooms are also spacious daily cleaning is done so we can maintain a good hygiene mess is also good we are provided with a study room and also gym for fitness we can also do yoga the

Dislikes

Hostels are not provided with air conditioners we are facing so much suffocation it would be nice if there are air conditioners and also ground to play and refresh it is so hard to digest that ground is not available in this big and great college too
In the classroom there is big size of strength as we are not able to concentrate completely it would be nice if there 150 per a room more pcts are conducted these days we are not able study and no time it would be nice if they decrease the number of
Group activities are not conducted and less interaction with peers it would also be nice if college provides any trip plans or something else ragging is more it should decrease for boys air conditioners in hostel should be provided as we are usurvive

Internships Opportunities:

As I am a fresher here I don't have that much knowledge about these things but I heard that many students from this guntur medical college will be passing out to foreign like United States of americs by writing the usmle entrance exam and pass it

The college is quite good according to the environment, it's calm , with full of trees , with some bird sounds like that
Academics are good with good screen and speaker system , practicals and dissection are done according to the schedules daily except Saturday
Many sessions related to community medicine will be held so that we can learn about general things happening

Dislikes

Negatives are pretty less here there is no ragging
Anti Ragging meeting make it possible I think , just a little interaction will be there here
Since no negatives much I think this is the best in present days medical colleges

Internships Opportunities:

There are many types of specialised blocks in our GGH guntur There you can get a lot of patients to treat Many diffent types of cases can be seen and acquire more practical knowledge Internships help you a lot in your further clinical practices after getting selected to some particular specialisations

The spacious and beautiful classrooms and galleries.
Well equipped laboratories with good facilities
Excellent teaching staff who guide us well

Dislikes

No entertainment or recreational activities
Hostels are old and are not well developed
Food from the mess is not that tasty and doesnt have good quality

Internships Opportunities:

As every other government medical college in india, guntur medical college also provides us with an internship with its affiliated hospital GGH. The stipend is somewhere around 20 thousand which is quite low in my opinion but there is a lot of exposure

Guntur medical college honest review

Likes

I appreciated the classrooms and facilities but labs need improvement
My engagement with campus life is good and my social engagement is not bad
We had a good faculty,library .they teach really well when it comes to practicals

Dislikes

I did not like the infrastructure of labs ,they look too old
The sound system also not that good in classrooms like there will be a lot of disturbance with the mike
Some classrooms do not have complete seats for all 250 students some need to sit on seperate chairs

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are done in ggh hospital near to the college. Salary for a intern is twenty two thousand approxiamately . With that experience we can get a more salary upto one lakh per month which may even rise furthur

Great curriculum academics and environment

I really liked the atmosphere of my college.It is completely filled with greenary and it is very refreshing.
Our college is built in early 19s that is during British time so it mostly build with stones.upon entering the college we will get the vintage vibes
The faculty here is also good.They really interact very well with students. We also have digital orientated teaching and the interaction with PGs is also good

Dislikes

The thing that I dislike is that we have exams regularly that is mostly for every 2 weeks we have some classtests
And I didn't even liked the timings of my college.earlier it is 9to 5 but now our timing have changed to 9to4
The food is also not that much nice but is is ok we can adjust

Internships Opportunities:

As I'm in my first year I really don't know much about the internships and all. But according to what I have learnt from seniors is that each and every student gets internship opportunities. And even some projects opportunities are also give as much as I know

The prestigious college -GMC

Likes

College is very prestigious and have a great faculty and sports also present in this college
We will get a mentors to guide in all activities and by seniors we can learn how to deal with studies and about books.In our college all events will occur like freshers day and college fest.
Specially visiting the villages during family adoption programmes and pricking blood in physiology lab and doing experiments in biochemistry labs

Dislikes

As the college is very big we can't understand about the classes and can't get to know about the faculty closely
In dissection lab crowd is more so all members can't see the cadaver parts
Writing records every week is a tough task as more subjects are present

Internships Opportunities:

Our college students will get internship at their 5th phase of MBBS and it was about 15000 to 20000 for every month. Also very interesting reasearch options also present in MBBS for going into the reasearch platforms to become as a scientist in future. Some projects like USMLE also present for the students who want to do pg and settle in abroad.
