Dibrugarh Hanumanbax Surajmall Kanoi Commerce College was established in 1960 and is affiliated by Dibrugarh University, Assam. This commerce college has a campus spread over a land of 0.81 Acres which offers academic services to students and various other related facilities. This college is one of the famous college in Dibrugarh which I heard before from my seniors and also from my some villagers. The admisson process is also simple not so complicated . Admission:

1. Honestly I wanted to apply for this college as because of reside on dibrugarh so I wanted to go to a college in dibrugarh so by the grace of God I got to read in this college. I heard a lot of things about this college from everyone including my parents and even grandparents which made me to choose this college and it is active culturally and academically. 2. I didn't got kind of rejection but I didn't wanted to make it to other colleges as I live with my mother and brother in dibrugarh so I didn't wanted to leave them and go to other place so I want to get into a college in dibrugarh. This is the reason. 3.So regarding the admission process it is under merit based so no exams are conducted.Only the percentage of H.S is seen and accordingly if the percentage is upto the cutoff mark given by the college then admission is confirmed otherwise if the percentage is below the cutoff then admission can't be taken .For science stream cut offs are usually more i.e 70 percent and above and for arts stream it is slightly less.

I had applied in Dibrugarh University, B.borooah college, JB college and many other colleges. I had got a confirmed admission from JB college. I had choosen this college over the others because of the environment of the college. Yes I have been rejected from other colleges as well because I didn't have the cutoff to take admission in those colleges. The eligibility to get admission to this college is above 60%.

The DHSK College

Admission:

I applied in other colleges such as dibru college, digboi college, dibrugarh University, gauhati university etc. My 1st option was I really wanted to study in dibrugarh University but for my poor grades in my HS exam I couldn't make it . So I prefer dhsk college at spot admission and I got selected for major in chemistry which I wished to. My college admission were through samarth portal which was based on merit list of the HS exam. To get admission in dhsk college, the student must have a qualified HS marksheet with good grades. My experience was very lucky because there was only one seat available in my course. So I am really happy to get admission in dhsk college and now I am trying my hard to improve my studies.

I applied for North lakhimpur and kanoi college but I got confirmation in kanoi college I choose the kanoi college because I want to study in city area and I like the clg environment and also kanoi college gives you many opportunities in sports and in studies . I didn't got admission in North lakhimpur because of my low percentage . You can apply in samarth portal and also you can get spot admission.
