Established in 1987, Pramukhswami Medical College (PSMC) is located in Anand in Gujarat. Affiliated to the Sardar Patel University, the institute offers MBBS course at UG level and MD/MS at the postgraduate level.

Pramukhswami Medical College has in intake of 150 students every year for a five-and-a-half year course (including one year of compulsory internship) MBBS course. PSMC offers postgraduates courses in 18 specializations degrees for the 49 seats.

For MBBS course, admission will be offered for the candidates who have passed higher secondary examination.
Admission to this program is through National/ University level entrance exam viz. National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG)
Candidates having recognized MBBS degree and have obtained permanent Registration as medical practitioners are eligible to take admission in MD/MS/Diploma courses.
Admission in MD/MS/Diploma is done through entrance exam conducted as per guidelines of MCI.
Candidates can submit the application online for NEET registration.

PSMC MBBS Admission

PSMC offers full time Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course of five and a half years duration for the candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.

Candidates who have pre-Professional / pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing the Higher Secondary School Examination are also eligible for MBBS admission.

Those belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (OBC) must possess at least 40% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in HSE or the Indian School Certificate examination which is equivalent to 12^th standard.

PSMC MD/MS Admission

At the PG level, the institute offers three years Master of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) course along with two years Diploma course. Candidate with a recognized MBBS degree who have obtained permanent Registration as medical practitioners with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any of the State Medical Councils are eligible for admission to MD/MS course.

Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of entrance test conducted as per the guidelines of MCI and the other concerned authorities.

Candidates can register for NEET through the official website by following the below given steps:

Log on to the NEET website and fill the application form.
Upload the scanned copies of Signature, Photograph, Thumb impression
Proceed to fill the course application details.
Submit your application and click on proceed to pay.
Submit the application fee of INR 1400 (INR 750 for reserved category candidates)
Application fee can be submitted through Credit/ Debit card or Net Banking.

Subsequently, candidates will be redirected to the next page with a preview of all the details filled by the candidate. Candidate should take the print out of the duly filled in application form.

My vision of my institute

Admission:

I applied for mostly goverment and semi government colleges.But according to my score and rank in NEET 2024 I know that I can get admission only in private medical college. But in private colleges also my preference was some colleges in ahmedabad which I think was better than this institute and also near to my hometown.But I don't get admission there due to my low rank but I am grateful that I got admitted in this institute which is also very good.

Admission:

I applied to many other private colleges such as Kiran medical College, bharuch, Banas medical College, palanpur and many other colleges where I could get in easily but i didn't choose them over this because I heard that this college is much more organised with great faculty which weren't there.. plus the area is safe for girls. Thus i choose Pramukh Swami over other colleges. All other private medical colleges like nhl, ahmedabad, simmer,Surat, C.U.Shah, surendranagar.. i didn't get into them as my score was low in neet exam

The first and the foremost reason of choosing this college was the time since which it is running. The college is old and thus it is consisting of highly experienced staff and doctors.more over the college is affiliated with the hospital shree Krishna hospital Karamsad which has a high patient rush which this helps in the exposure.

Pramukhswami medical college is one of the best institutes in India for medical education

Admission:

Admission was through the entrance exam. The application form was available on the college website and the link was shared in newspapers. The admission process was fair and smooth. Counseling was arranged after the declaration of the result. My rank was 69, so I got the seat easily.

Unforgottable enjoyment

Admission:

At our time our beloved finance minister Shri H M Patel was there and he started this institute for the benefit of society and community. The only thing I remember is our strike for getting recognition in Medical Council Of India. It was around 44 days strike and we enjoyed this strike and learnt so many things unity,bonding and other so many things.
