PGP College of Nursing and Research (PGPCNR) was established in the year of 2007 which is managed by PGP Educational and Welfare Society. The college is affiliated with the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and approved by the Indian Nursing Council and Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council. The college is also offering Bachelor of Science and Master of Science programs in Nursing.
The objective of the college is to educate students to practice comprehensive and holistic nursing care in the hospital as well as in the community. The college provides a well-equipped infrastructural facility to the students also under which library carries 5,000 books of current Medical and Nursing titles and 25 subscribed journals. It has placement offers of Apollo Hospital and Kovai Medical Center and Hospital Ganga Gem for students.
