The college admission process is managed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) based on MHT CET exam results. Admission notifications are widely published in newspapers, and a facilitation center is available to guide applicants. Faculty members are well-qualified, supportive, and maintain an interactive relationship with students. The college boasts a highly affordable fee structure, regulated by the Shikshan Shulk Samity of the state government, making it one of the lowest among engineering institutes.
A placement and training program, initially for the mechanical department, has been expanded to all departments, preparing students for placement activities. A campus drive featured companies like 3D PLM, First India Robotics, and others. Although internships at the BE level are not always available, the college supports internship programs linked with Savitribai Phule Pune University, with varying stipends. The college offers government-approved scholarships, such as the EBC scholarship, and has partnered with the Central Bank of India to ease the educational loan process.
