Q1. After completing D.Pharma from BBDIT, can I open my own medical store?
Ans. Yes, after completing D.Pharma and registering with the State Pharmacy Council of Uttar Pradesh, you are eligible to obtain a drug licence and open a retail pharmacy/medical store. D.Pharma is the minimum qualification required to operate a pharmacy in India.
Q2. Is D.Pharma from BBDIT valid for government pharmacy jobs?
Ans. Yes, D.Pharma from a PCI-approved institution like BBDIT is valid for government pharmacy jobs. D.Pharma holders can apply for Pharmacist posts in government hospitals, railways, defence, and other public sector organisations. However, for higher-level posts, B.Pharma or M.Pharma may be required.
