My College Experience: What You Should Know

Fees and Financial Aid:

In our college, the yearly fees are ?1,24,000, which includes tuition, registration, and admission fees. No extra charges are taken apart from the exam fees. All my batchmates pay the same amount. The only scholarship available is for home state students under the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme.

Reality check

I am from 2022 - 2026 batch my fees is total 4,51,500. Aditional 5000 was for college dress and bagpack. Per semester Examination fees is 1200. Rest no any additional cost is taken by college. As per my knowledge every year for freshers fees is incread by around 30,000 - 40,000(Approx). For students who have West Bengal Domicile are eligible for SVCM scholarship of 60,000 per year provided by WB government. THe scholarship is revoked if the student gets a single backlog.

A little bit about BIT (Bengal institute of technology)

My current year fee is approx rs 110000 to 120000 for 2 semester which means one year . There is mani scholarship anyone can avail but the most common is Swami vivekanand scholarship for which you have to be passed in all subjects The scholarship is of 60000 per year. For availing it every year you need to pass all subjects. Currently this time may the fees has been increased as inflation happen every year.

The fee structure for the B.Tech Program at the Bengal Institute of Technology(BIT) : (CSE) Yearly Fee Structure : 1st Year : Rs 140350 1st Semester: Tution fees : 45,000 Student's Welfare and Sport and Games fee : 500 Library cum Book-Bank Fee: 500 Training , Grooming & FSP : 25,500 Technology Enhanced Learning : 27,350 Total : 78,350 2nd Semester Tution Fees : 35000 Student's Welfare and Sports and Games fees: 500 Library cum Book-Bank fee: 1000 Total : 62000 The fee structure for 2nd , 3rd and 4th year remains the same as the 1st year , with minor variation in amount of certain fees. 2nd Year : 91500 3rd Year : 93500 4th Year: 95500 Annual Fees : 1.40 Lakhs (appoximately) Total Fees of Completed Course : 4.21 Lakhs (assuming no significant fee increases) I mainly not aware of any scolarship but if you have TFW certificate then the fee amount can vary drastilcally it around Rs 32000(approx) for 4 year i.e a complete BTech course . scolarship - NSP

My College

Yeah so the total fees is 4,50,000. First sem 78,000. Second sem 63000 and rest of the semester 51500. And here SVMCM or every types of scholarship is available. You can fill up to 3 scholarship. And about our highest package is besically 10-12 lpa and average package 5-6 lpa.

Review of BIT

For being general cast, I haven't received any kind of scholarship but yeah many of my guys have received it. In every semester, the fee structure is divided. There are 4 years course and 8 semister. Each semister, the fee structure is different.
