The students become eligible for placements on the final year (7th semester) when the company's visit the college and conduct their drives to select the eligible students . Many companies like Deloitte, surewaves come with good offers to the campus.
The highest package offered till date is of 22lpa and average packages are of around 8lpa . Around 70% of the students get placed every year .

Placements are good for CS, IS and ECE branches. 70 to 80% of them get placed for those branches. Same cannot be said for other branches. Few people get placed from other branches since most companies that come for placements are software based.
I would or have planned for higher studies . My college CMRIT , has good placements for particularly CSE and ECE compared to other departments . There have been a quite a few students who have bagged higher packages these few years . The turnover for placements has been in a good up progress
We have a very good placement cell, they try to get maximum placement for us and also they push us and prepare us to crack it. They also do counselling if you are facing any difficulty to crack an interview.
