Which college is the best for computer science and engineering: UEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology, or CIEM?

One of my close friends studied CSE at the Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata. According to her, they have a great faculty, well-maintained infrastructure, and an updated curriculum. Things You Should Know About Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee structure for each field is different and as for Bachelors of Technology [B.Tech] in Computer Science my fees is 49,000 per semester so annually the fees to be paid is 98,000. I dont quite remember the detailed course fee but yes it was 98,000 annually at my time of admission. Also each year the course fee increases by a little sum. There are some scholarship that are issued and available in the college so it might be really helpful like SVMCM, MCM and Aikyashree. These scholarships are based on merit but again the required criteria is not so much so you can easily get through it.

Journey of CIEM_2021-2025

I pursued my B.Tech (CSE)degree from Calcutta Institute Of Engineering And Management(CIEM),and the total fee for the complete course was 3.5lakh approx,paid over Academic years.The fee Structure remained Stable throughout the Course with no Annual increment.As a general Category Student,I paid approximately RS 84,500/- which covered tuition fees,registration fee,Admission fee,Development charges and other compulsory institutional charges.A one-Time security deposite was also included in the first year payment,which was refundable upon course completion.

Life at CIEM

Per semester fee is approx Rs.42250 and it icreases till 8th semester upto Rs.43250. I am from other state(out o WB) bengol students get their Scholarship every year and concession based on theri marks. They paid half of the fee from the actual fee.

College life is best...

For the 1st year fees was 56000 and from the 2nd year fees was 60000. Students after knowing this went for strike but there was no result. All the fees were included in the fees. Others have the same fees. About others i have no idea. Currently what is the fees i have no idea.

For the first semester I had to pay 42250/- along with admission fees which was 17750/-. Second semester fees was the same. Every year the fee increases by thousand rupees. So for the third and fourth semester I had to pay 43250/- each time. For the fifth and sixth semesters the fees was 44250/- each time. I am currently in my last year now(7th sem). This fees structure is for general caste. Lab fees and other fees are inclusive in the semester fees.

CIEM is Best for Engineers

Btech fee structure in our college in 2022 is 387000 in total. But as I joined the college as a tfw candidate so I have to pay just 1250 rs ina semester. Now in 2024 in btech our course fees is 449000 in total.

The exams attendance and the study material provided are very useful from exam point of view it really helped to paass the exams

The fees i already mentioned is the reason of my admission as it was the least among all the other college of same or higher rating but at the end teaching is same. At my time it was 357000 including everything but now it has increased to I guess 410000 still is less than many college. Their are many financial aid provided in the college their are few student who pays 15000 for the entire 4 year course as they have fees allowance also there are many scholarship thing done and i get almost 4-5 notice of the same in group evey day . Till now there is no campus employment but college has helped me to participate in all iit and nit competition

The fees hike policy is so allegdly going here as fees are decreasing day by day i got admitted in the course at 3.5 lakhs full course fees but now its increased to 4.10 lakhs full course fees but after this fees structure also my college is one of the most affordable college i think for btech in kolkata. I could not name any scholarships as i do not avail any of them i dont have much knowledge and also no financial assistance and talking about jobs and internships i am just in my second year of study so till now i didnt receive bot of it

CIEM CSE Student Review

Fees structure is 409000. Our semester exam not yet done but the college take fees 49000 per sem in an advance so that is not fair. Every time they remind us about their fees payment, and also not provide internship.
