The college has a strong campus placement program, especially in the IT sector, where companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant hire about 250 students. Placements in core fields like electrical engineering are fewer, with typically 2 or 3 per branch, although students with high CGPAs have better prospects. Placement eligibility starts in the 3rd semester and lasts until the 4th semester. The highest salary package offered is 12 lakh per annum for postgraduate engineer trainees, while the average package for analyst positions is 5 lakh per annum.
About 75% of students successfully secure placements. Internships are rare due to the requirement of being on campus for 4 semesters, but 15-day internships can be approved. Master's students can intern at Dell, receiving a stipend of 6000 per month. The college has a semester-wise fee structure, charging Rs 10,000 each semester for a total of four semesters. Students can apply for scholarships, and those with a valid GATE rank can receive a central government scholarship of Rs 12,500 per month.
State government grants may also be available to cover fees. Placements mainly occur in the final year, focusing on IT roles, but students with a CGPA of 8 or higher may land core job positions.
