IRTT B.E Admission 2024
IRTT offers B.E course in 7 disciplines and admits candidates through TNEA counselling. The minimum eligibility is 10+2 from a recognized board to be eligible for admission.
TNEA is a state level counselling procedure conducted by Anna University, Tamil Nadu. TNEA is organized to give admission to deserving candidates into BE courses offered by the private/ Self-Financed/ Semi-Aided Technical Institutes of Tamil Nadu.

- Candidates of SC/ST are given relaxation in the qualifying examination marks during the admission procedure.
- Candidates who belong to BC/ BC (Muslim)/ MBC & DNC/ SC/ ST category must have passed HSC with minimum 55% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics together to become eligible for admission.
- Applicants who belong to BC/ BC (Muslim) and have passed HSC with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to get admission.
- Students who belong to MBC & DNC category should pass the HSC examination with at least 45% marks in Physics/ Mathematics/ and Chemistry.
- IRTT giveS admission on 65% of seats through TNEA and the rest 35% are filled through Management Counselling.
IRTT M.E and MCA Admission 2024
The institute offers M.E in 2 specializations and a MCA course under its UG department. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% of marks (45% for the reserved category).
Admission to the candidates is given based on their performance in TANCET. TANCET is a state level entrance test conducted by Anna University, Chennai.

Important points about M.E and MCA admission:
- Qualified candidates are called for counselling process that is conducted by Anna University.
- Candidates who hold a BE/ B.Tech/ B.Arch. / B.Pharm./ BSc. degree in any discipline are considered eligible for M.E.
- Applicants with Master’s Degree in Science/ Arts/ Computer Science/ Information Technology are also considered eligible for admission.
- Candidates with MCA (3 years)/ MCA Lateral Entry (2 years) after a 10+2+3-year degree in BCA/ BSc are eligible to get admission in M.E.
- Candidates with 10+2+ AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma (as awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE are eligible to apply for admission to the courses.
IRTT Application Process 2024
Prospectus cum Application form is provided offline at the Admission Office of the college. Candidates must fill in all the form carefully. Submit the application from before the stipulated date of submission.
The application fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favor of the college.
