Jorhat Engineering College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It's a government college located in Assam only. The fees structure is good. I also got the choice branch which I wanted to study. Placement is not bad. Also students can easily apply for goverment jobs if he/she pass from any government college. Also I didn't want to drop a year to prepare for jee mains.

Excellent faculty and staff in the department, good overall history of the department and the college, also I got the branch I wanted, the place was closer to my home town than the other engineering colleges

Good ranking in state.Commendable infrastructure.Fantastic faculty.Decent placement.My interest in studying computer science was the main reason.This College provided a very great experience on this subject in particular.Hence,I chose this college.Students are encouraged to participate and enhance their talent.

Civil Engineering branch is good in our college.The faculties are very serious about classes and keeps eyes on student everytime.They help the students whenever possible.That's why I took admission in JEC.

This College offers a relaxed, discussion-based atmosphere to help students grow and think out of the box which is great and love about this college is that they give you liberal and freedom to think which seems to be to see in other college

Through CEE we can get into the government technical institutes in Assam and depending on the rank we get into the institutes. So I got JEC with my rank which is the 2nd most sought after college for BE in Assam after AEC and it was not much of my choice as everything depends on the rank. But I am thoroughly satisfied and happy. As for my branch, I am pursuing Civil Engineering and that too depends on the rank but I got what I was looking for luckily.

if you want good education for cse, jec is good, but no campus life and you get bored here easily.

Need infrastructure developments. i mean even the logo is turning from silver to green.

To remark about my college in a few words is hard but in a nutshell I would say that my campus was the beginning of another chapter in my life that enabled me to be the person I'm today.

On a scale of 10. I will rate my college 9. As there is always room for improvement.
