RIT Islampur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.

> From the 4th semester itself, students can go on a off-campus intership with the permission of the college department; the college takes care of the students' attendance. > While mostly students start looking for an internship from the 6th sem onwards. >About 80-85% students were placed from the final year, and the rest many chose to pursue higher studies in foreign countries. > The highest package went up to 12-13 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA, on the other hand the average package was 6-7 LPA. > The top recruit companies are Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro.

Companies like TATA, Lakshmi Constitution, RDC constructions are gives us opportunities to inter and get placements in there companies. Faculty gives us proper guidance to achieve us goals and qualify in interviews.

Placement strategies is different for every department. Like most computer engineering students wants higher education. Mechanical, civil and automobile students not that much interested in higher education. Teachers of placement department are very active in there work they gave us more information and counseling like who have to get higher education and who gave to be placed. Students fills a google form which os about students placements, according to that they know how many students are interested in placement and higher education. Companies like TATA, VPRO and other are came for campus in our college various tests and interviews are taken then salary and other things are discussed. Many students get pass in interview. The ratio is about to 30% students get placed every years from campus.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Various companies like TCS ,Atlas copco, Wipro etc visits the college Highest package is around 15 lakhs per annum and average is 5 lakhs per annum 40 to 50% students get placed

Do placements are well there are many companies that offers the students placements and packages including or according to their CGPA and their attendance and their English speaking skills my college visited many Hyundai companies many companies such as TCS which are very helpful for beginning students the percentage of students getting the placement is equal to overall 70% which is very good according to this college if there is no placement and the college gives second option that day should continue the higher studies and post graduate studies in their College only with many concessions which are very helpful for job dating students

From the third semester students became eligible for campus placement. From the end of the 4th semester students need to compulsory do internship for one month in summer holidays to develop there practical knowledge about industries.

Placement is ok ok. Not too good not too bad. Upto 70% of students get placed every year. Cognizant, Accenture, Tech Mahindra are some of the companies that visited. Highest package is of 9 lpa and low is 2.5 lpa.

There are campus interview and student can get the campus selection and package nearly average and equal to 3 lakh Rupees by the college because if we study to good then the college provides placement there are many companies coming to interview and college and placement and there are many skillful clips that we can increase our placement
