Admission to KJ Somaiya College is merit-based, involving an entrance test and JEE Mains scores, with equal weightage given to Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics marks. The Maharashtra common entrance test (CET) guides the admission process, with reserved seats for Gujarati linguistic minorities. NRI students have a separate admission process. Classes for NRIs begin a week earlier.
