My Experience about KPRIET

Likes

I liked the Infrastructure of the college which very calm and a peaceful
I liked the way of coaching in both studies and other activities
I liked the way of approach of staffs to students

Dislikes

Hostel food is ok not too good and it is so strict
College is not inside the city and main road.travelinf from gate to hostel is too far
You need to have a bike or other to experience no worries

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good.but it'll not teach you in practical way.just you can read and write exam.they need to improve in practical areas of studying.only practical things gives you knowledge.the question paper are ok that is difficulty is medium

My college is located outside of coimbatore, with a green campus,the college looks stunning in rainy season and less heat will be present in summer due to lots of trees .
The dress code is flexible and the administration is not too strict and supports students request
The cultural and other technical and non technical events is my favourite as these things will be organised perfectly and will also invite other colleges students for participation

Dislikes

Has to wear ID card all the time in the campus
The classes starts 830 am and will end up 415pm which is a long session of breaked classes
Only couple of cafeteria available so there isn't much of different varieties of foods to eat

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum offered in my college is completely depends on the society requirement. The syllabus will be constructed in way that the students will learn as much of technology required to survive in a competitive field . The major opportunity are from IT field so our college makes every student irrespective to the department to have a good knowledge in various IT related tools. If we take a look at the core knowledge the curriculum offers all the essential knowledge to start the carrer in the market and provides motivation to do new projects .

Place of the campus, a greenish campus, with cool breeze, we can take printouts, xeroxes, colour prints in the campus itself for a cheaper rate.
Canteens, food and the beverages, as we have 5 canteens and bakeries altogether
Availability of resources for our AI-DS department, like our 2 labs AI lab and DS lab are composed of only apple computers, and other than that we have other plenty of labs also like python laboratory, java lab, full stack lab, communication lab

Dislikes

Teachers of our department, like are old minded people, it's a co ed one, but so much of traumatic experience I have got, not from all the teachers, some are really good and supportive, but there are few teachers who is bad.
Have heard from all that the hostel food is bad, so I have heard like somedays it would be good somedays it would be bad and few of my friends won't even eat food while they come to class
Though we have multiple canteens, for taking xeroxes and printouts there is only one shop and we can't take from there sometimes as the queue will be so long.

Placement Experience:

About the placements, our college give placement training right from the third year, like we can choose the language java, c, python like that, and then placement teams will come right from our third year itself and the placement team is so good but the placement training is so rigorous, we have to be fully concentrated and should give full focus in it, my plan is to get a good job in a big company that's it.

Likes

College provides you with many more opportunities other than curriculum. You will be get to know about more things. You can participate in outside events and explore more here.
They give more importance to celebrations too. They handle both education and celebration equally. Infrastructure of the college will be more nice.
Faculties here are so friendly where you can get their guidance for each and every step that you take. Placements are actually good for eee and ece department here

Dislikes

Here, you want to gain opportunities. More of the people will ne more competitive.
They conduct exams in festival timea for first year to compensate the delay
And more of extra curricular than class room based learning which is an advantage actually

From 3rd year students get eligible. Many pf the 3rd year students are being placed in top reputed company. One remarkable internship with stipend 150000 is being got by one of the 3rd year student by amazon.Highest Package is 5400000 per annum. Average package is 600000. There are 90% placement for the students who applied fpr placements.

The infrastructure of our college is best and more tha 1lakh 50thousand trees are grown in our college.
The facilities for students is very nice .
The lab and the work place in our college is fantastic

Dislikes

Nothing is lack in oru college except something
Our college food is wounderfull sometimes it will be okay but not bad
Rather than our college has no drawbacks.

I am studying bachelor of engineering in civil engineering and my course the core course of engineering and i have good teachee and nice teaching and they are teaching us well the facility for our department civil is good

I love the greenish environment and big surrounding
I also love the management care to make place and get into good companies

I don't like the liberty my college gives to most of the people

The college of green campus with high class teaching

The college has more trees and the environment is so good
The faculty are so good they help students in a kind manner
The teaching curriculum is very good and the campus is soo pretty good

Dislikes

There are some disadvantages that is college is located in a village
Need more curriculum improvement ... Specially skills should be improved for every student
The gatepass system in this college destroys the freedom of every student

Infrastructure is really awesome in my college.
Career Development center make the students to getvthe placements
Placements and Internships are provided by the college .they have high percentage of placements

Placement Experience:

The placements starts from fifth semester. The companies which came for the placements include Hexaware ,KONE ,Turing ,Neuralgo ,BOSCH ,BSH ,Amazon ,Accenture ,Flipkart ,ABB ,EY ,Schneider and many other companies.the highest package is around 54 LPA.

Likes

The placement opted students are given training by industry person.
The diverse laboratories in the campus makes it unique.
Most of the faculties are well trained here with a doctorate degree.

Dislikes

Companies offering less than 5 lpa aren't allowed by the placement cell. They are the startups offering it, so students can learn more and placement rate also improves.
Basic facilities like switch boards and adequate wifi bandwidth and fans are all isn't considered.
Cost cutting is made in most of the areas.

My course is computer science and business systems. It includes the traditional computer Science papers and also have papers related to the business and management. So I find this course very useful and hence joined it. All aspects of this course are too good.
