Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering was established in 1994. Konkan Gyanpeeth is a Public Charitable Trust. The College was initially started with Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering.

The college is completely self financed and one of the leading institutes among all the engineering colleges
There are trains for Karjat from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) every half-an-hour. Which takes 11 hours and there are trains from Pune station, which takes 2 hours to reach Karjat.
College is approved by AICTE and affiliated to University of Mumbai

Unfortunately, I couldn't secure admission to other colleges due to my marks not meeting their high cut-offs. However, my college has provided me with a great platform to grow and improve. The admission process was smooth and merit-based, making it accessible for students like me to get a chance to prove themselves. Despite my marks, I’m confident that this college will help me achieve my aspirations through its strong curriculum and supportive environment.

Eligibility for the course is you need 12th or diploma in computer/ IT field. The admission process is through the online portal on mahadbt website. Application fees are around 600-800. I availed of an Open-EWS reservation and my fees are 53000 per year.

Admission:

I got admission from the cap round in this college for artificial intelligence and data science. The total fees of college for one year are 92,000. But it depends on your cast. fees can be paid in installments. All staff of the college is vry helpful.

True colours of konkangyanpeeth

Admission:

I also applied for VJTI but cracking cutoff was difficult. No, I didn't opt for any quota. Minimum cutoff generally varies from brach, you can easily get this college within 50 marks in cet (mechanical specific), 55% are enough as far as 12th score is concerned. I got this through cet and on a 12th basis only.
