Yes, if you ranked top 3 in your branch you got scholarship. Like if you ranked 1 you get 100% and if you ranked 2nd you will get 75% of your fees and if you ranked 3rd you are eligible for 50% scholarship.

AS I said earlier I was from J&K I had got scholarship from AICTE with full waiver of tution fees though there were another scholarships for all students who secure above 6.5 cgpa per sem. They were given 65 k per annum with a tablet.
