Gokhale Memorial Girls College is a very reputed Girls College in Kolkata. Students from all over West Bengal comes here to get Quality Education in a very strict, disciplinary background. Students get overall grooming, both in academics and cultural discipline.

We do have a placement cell in our college. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is one of the most prominent companies coming to the college as the recruiters. Each year, 15-20 students get recruited by TCS.

We have three shifts in our college but we still don’t have any placement cell mentioned on the website. Since I’m a final year student, I have a very little to negligible knowledge about placement cell in our college or the average package offered or the companies coming up.

The College is highly reputed in Kolkata and makes to the top 10 colleges in Kolkata. It is exclusively for girls and was a safe option for me. It is a very prestigious college and was my first option.

This is one of the oldest colleges in the city with a great faculty and a lot of discipline. The college also has a good academic and the faculties and authorities are well concerned about their students and their studies.
