As of 2015, the Computer Department at the college had an experienced faculty, including the Principal, known for their kindness and expertise. Although half of the faculty has since moved to another college, the remaining staff are still praised for their teaching skills. The CSE department is noted for its supportive environment, helping students with academics and projects. Faculty members are approachable and excel in clarifying doubts, with core subject teachers recognized for their clear teaching methods.

The college adheres to Anna University's course structure, which includes two semester exams, two internal exams per semester, and several class exams. Tamil is taught in an engaging way. The annual fee for lateral entry students was Rs 1 lakh, excluding exam and lab fees, which is reasonable compared to other colleges outside city limits.
