Good vibe college

Likes

Good education with good environment with safe and secure.
Good hostel facility with hygiene food and tasty

Dislikes

Very strict as like school, should not talk with girls.

One of the best placement offers available in this college, mostly all students will be placed in this college, some companies will provide offers even if you have arrears,we can also apply for dual placement options.

My perspective of my college

Likes

The college campus is so big. The lots birds where come to our college.
The infrastructure is also good. good place to study.
There are number of faculty are more. don't worry about that.

Dislikes

The college is so strict. Mobile is not allowed.
The girls boys where don't talk to each other.
The feeling they give like school not like college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before my bachelor's degree, I decided to study PG, So I chose the course. The faculty in the college is good most of them have a doctorate. they're where well qualified. The teaching methods are also good. the exams were conducted frequently. It's easy only Not Tough.

I liked the infrastructure of my collage.
it's very peaceful and silent palce to feel the air.

I choose this course to develop my skills in the human resource department and faculty and students interaction is 4:6. Qualification of our faculty was Doctorate, MPhil Ph.D. holders, and their teaching methods are very understanding and they mostly talk in English cum Tamil. Exams are regularly conducted by the date and month. They expected dicto answers from the book which is a little bit difficult.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester onwards I have become eligible for placements. TVS group, Rane group, cognizant, Infosys, Lakshmi machine works. I have got 4 offers. The highest offer is 8 lakhs per annum. Around 70%of students were placed in IT and 10% were placed in core companies. I have opted to go for a job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty are very rude in behavior. Instead of teachers they behave like Jailor and the qualification of the staff are mostly ME and they do Ph.D. after they joined the college as assistant professors. Most of the college Staff are former alumni of this college

Great experience in MEPCO

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible for placements from the sixth semester of their course. The companies visiting our college are mostly IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Zogo, CTS, ShopUp. There will also be core companies visiting here. The average salary package for IT companies is Rs30000 per month and for core companies, it depends on the respective company which is visting. More than 80 percent of students got placed in my batch and this is true for all departments.

Remarks:

The reason for pursuing MBA program from this college is its tuition fee which is too low. Inspite of low fee, the facilities provided here and the on campus placement record. Post checking the official website I registered myself and filled the application form and paid the application fee firstly. Further, my score in undergraduate and TANCET exam was considered for enrolling me at this college.

Good college with high placement record. Very strict in discipline and following the rules in college, so I selected this college. And they offer transport facilities to home on every weekend. They also have good hostels especially for girls.

Mepco Schlenk is a strict disciplinarian college. Life at the college is miserable and it’s all about surviving there. Grave importance is given to id-cards, attendance, black shoes (compulsory for every student), and maintenance of classroom decorum. The college has installed phone booths so that students can communicate with their parents at any given time.

The faculty is amazing, along with this the college provides the students with the best resources like lab facilities, library access, etc. For relaxation purposes, they have a well-maintained gym, a ground, an indoor stadium, and an auditorium as well.

There are a few pointers which the students need to remember throughout their academic session –

The conversation between boys and girls is not allowed.
The college has the right to suspend students in the case of broken rules.
CCTV cameras are installed throughout the campus even in the classrooms.
Marking impression on teachers is prevalent among the students.
The placement rate is 90% (According to 2020 statistics)
Mobile phones are banned within the campus, hostel included.

Major Drawbacks

You can participate in presentations and tech workshops only if you have scored 7.5 CGPA and above. The rest of the students are not allowed to take part in these events.
The college authority assumes a monarchial stature in decision-makings which means it is not open for discussion or changes.
The placement rate is considerate, but there is a drawback- if you are selected by a company, then you won’t be allowed to sit for the interviews for another company that comes afterward.
You will be constantly pressurized if you have any backlog, regarding your performance, by the faculty, staff, and fellow mates as well.
Delay in time is unacceptable, if the student is late for five minutes then they will be marked absent for that entire period.

However, the college is not built solely on bad attributes, there are some good features as well such as -

The campus is extremely safe for the girl students with watchmen appointed at every two blocks.
The quality of food is good and the drinking water supplied is purified and fit for use by the students.
The convention center is ginormous, as big as the Nehru stadium.
The anti-ragging policy is implemented seriously.
The infrastructure is great, with well-equipped labs.

It is a very good college in terms of academia and high placement rates. However, the final choice depends on the person who is considering to opt for this college. All the best for your future.
