MEC Kochi Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am paying 65000 per year. I am in management seat. Merit seat have 35000 per year. There are lot of scholarships available especially for SC/ST where they have little to no fees. We had 10000 pta fees and 37000 tuition fees and the rest is distributed among various other facilities

For merit seat the fee structure is as follows 20,000/- per sem that is 40,000 per year For management seat fee structure is as follows 35,000/- per sem 70,000/- per year If you are eligible for fee waiver scholarship you have no tution fee. (Depends on income and keam rank) The remaining schloarships depends on caste and religion and income

GOVT MODEL ENGINEERING COLLEGE REVIEW

Year wise the fees for studying btech degree in this college is around 35k.which is the tusion fees only . Thier is an other 5000 pta fees and another 6000 for all other fees like( lab fees,travel fees, development fees etc). Also thier is no caution deposits to be paid. Thier is fees concession for the highest ranked student according to kerala entrance(fw) they only need to pay 9k instead of 35k.Also thier is fees concession scholarship for students who have low income. The concession is according to their financial background example the scholarships are Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship,Central Sector Scholarship etc

Why should you choose Mec

Fee structure is different for those who got admission by state quota , managemnt and nri For states its around 30,000 for management its around 70 ,000 and for nri seats 100000. We will have different scholarship is we meet the necesaary terms like pm scholarship etc are provided .

There are two types of seeds management seats and merit seats. For merit seats it will be 45000 per year and for management seats it will be 75000 per year there are reservations for SC and ST categories and for NRI students it will be around 1 lakh per year so there are three categories 50% of the seat is merit quote.

Life at model engineering college

I joined this college under state merit category. Each sem costs ?22,740 . And the whole fours would amount to be ?1,79,000. There's three categories merit, management and nri. The management course fee is 35,000 per sem and nri category costs ?1,00,000 per year.

Good hostel facilities and college academics, average infrastructure

The yea wise fee i pay for tuition is 76000Rs under management quota(approx 38000 per semester). For state merit students, it comes to around 28000 per semester approximately. For hostel, have to pay cution deposit of 10000 and monthly fee of 7000 which includes rent, and mess.

I am paying 70000 rupees yearly. I am studying in my college in management quota so I have to pay more while my classmates who are in merit quota have to pay 40000 yearly even though I have higher rank than them. I have applied for scholarships but I didn't get any of them.

Great for placements, Not so great for campus life.

For management seats which is half of the total seats , the fee is 70000 per year.For Merit seats the fee is 35000 per year.A Caution deposit of 10000 is to paid which will be returned upon completion of course.Other extra fees are all paid within the course fee.

MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

Here semester wise fees is around 35k for management quota.Yearly it's around 70k. Besides Management quota ,There is Merit and NRI quota and fees is around 40k for Merit quota and 1lakh for NRI quota.Thers is also Sc/st quota which have lower academic fees.A scholarship is offered by Ex-Mecians which gives 10k to the students in need .Also there is scholarship for Top excellent students.
