Campus life is great as well like all the photos of the infrastructure are available in the internet, in real life that is more beautiful.
Scholarship opportunities are provided frequently by the college from different sites to help students.
Not only hod sir but also all teachers are very friendly and they help us to pass the semester.

Dislikes

Annual fest and sports happen but at the small ground of college which is not good for sport, many students got injured.
No certain scholarships and financial aid is provided by the college.
The exams are going on of other batches our most classes gets cancelled.

Placement of my college is quite good or decent for technical course Placement if good but for core subject Placement are not to good average package is around 300000 to 400000 According to fee it's good

An honest review of narula institute of technology

Likes

The environment of the college the people here are very cooperative
The infrastructure is also very good comparitibaly i have also visited some other colleges in Kolkata but there campus is not this much good
Teachers here are very cooperative and they take classes regularly and they are also very kind and friendly

Dislikes

There's no badminton court i am good in only this sport and it's not in campus
Fake advertisement some of the advertisement of the college is fake like the placement as in advertisement 89% and in reality it's something different

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose btech in cse as it's highly demanding and comparatively easy to other btech courses even though the college curriculum doesn't shoot me that much I think that it should be more practical over theoretical and the use of advanced technology should also be used more.

Likes

The campus life is actually good if you stay with good people
The facilities are really supportive and helpful and always ready to solve our doubts
The seniors are also really supportive caring and easy to gell up with

Dislikes

There are also some people to create unnecessary nuisance
Try to avoid them as much as you can and it will be better for you

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for campus placements. The different companies that are our recruiters are Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services etc. The highest package offered last year was 18 LPA and we have a placement rate of 89 % as of last year.

Likes

No attendance issue on most lectures ( lab and practical classes is mandatory ), we can study at home for competitive exams. Building and furniture is good.
No ragging, I don't even know my senior nor my juniors.
It's good for those who are willing to self study

Dislikes

Small campus and play ground. No proper equipments for games no extra curricular activities. Only few teachers fav students participate in some activities. Gym is closed always.
No junior senior interaction. Very less events to participate.
No social interaction in college life as we expect from a college.

Placement Experience:

Many students are getting placed in company's from various courses you can check in their official website or Instagram handle. The package is not disclosed clearly. Many companies like tcs ,Accenture , Mahindra etc is there. Recently the college has invited Microsoft. Let's see what'll happen

Our faculties are very helpful and friendly...they helping us everytime we want...for every little thing.
Campus.... Narula institute of technology has a great campus with a attached Lake
Cultural activities and sports...in NiT we have fests like Navodaya and kritanj and many more...the tech fests and cultural fest are really enjoyable to bring happiness and relief from stress

Dislikes

Campus....we have to share our campus with a University but it's ok because the other's collage students were friendly enough.
Canteen....there is no food in canteen except some cold drinks and Maggie
Some times important notices are delayed to share with us...but the students have it from other students and it usually common in NiT

Placement Experience:

In our college, most of the students get employed but very few students didn't get their placement just because of their own fault. In our college, the highest package is 32 LPA and in recent days 2023 highest package is like 27 LPA. Recently a girl from our college got placement by off campus about 50+ LPA in Microsoft.. And its true that. in campus our college placement is not more than 6 LPA or max 8 LPA

the faculty members of this collage is very awesome and very supportive in nature. our collage has anti ragging campus. so no any seniors can do something bad with you. and our seniors is also very polite, humble and friendly in nature.
our campus area is small but it is very beautiful campus as compares with another collages of kolkata.
the library of our collage is also very nice . its a place where you can enjoy with your books.

Dislikes

no any classrooms of our collage has installed AC. no any labs of our collage has installed AC.
Library of our collage also does not has AC. for sports there are no any badminton court of basket ball court.
the area of our college is very small. play ground is also very small.

Placement Experience:

placement of our collage is good if any student has sufficient knowledge about his/her course or they have sufficient skills then they can place very easily from our collage. juspay, amazon, tcs Wipro, and many other companies visit our collage. highest package is given by juspay which is 27 lakh and lowest is given by Wipro. i think 75 to 80 percent student get placed from our collage. i want to become a software developer after my degree.

NIT kolkata review

Likes

Having good campus and big campus as compare to kolkata
Qualify faculties having good knowledge and good exposure
There is no attendance policy and all so it is good

Dislikes

There is some how language barriers in this college
Extra activities is not performed in this college
Some teachers speaks bangali while teaching

Placement Experience:

Placements is average in thi college for CSE avg packages is 6 lpa and almost all branch students got placed, top 20 students also got Placements above 20 lpa also one girl from CST cracks MICROSOFT with 51 lpa in 3rd year.

Likes

The faculty's are very expertise, talented and their teaching methods, mentorship quality is quite impressive.
With the education this college held so much Tech fest and Competition, Seminar which help students a lot.
This college have a good quality of computer labs and campus amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The new world of CSE is based on AI means Artificial Intelligence so I choose that course. The course is quite interesting as it is a specialization branch of Computer Science and Engineering. And also with this course you can learn a lot.

Likes

Faculty behaviour is good. They help with any problem
Playing ground is big enough to play football and cricket.
Library has variety of books to choose from.

Dislikes

Some faculties don't behave well. After asking doubts they can't understand

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is different this year. The companies took 50% less students from the previous year. MNCs like Accenture, Capgemini, TCS came also with other start-ups like ZScaler offered highest of 26 LPA. Average salary is around 4 LPA. 30% of our department students are placed.

Know Your College - Narula Institute of Technology

Narula Institute of Technology is one of the renowned college in West Bengal. The college is located a bit away from Kolkata city. But it's location is quite decent. The one thing that I appreciate is that this college is autonomous. And it's benefit
The campus life of the college is very nice. Campus is quite big enough. Also it shares it's campus with JIS University. You can enjoy the college life. Social interaction all seniors are very helpful and positive and have guided us in positive way.
Faculty and professors are very much helpful and have great experience. There are various labs and workshops organised by our college. Many events hackathons are also organised time to time. So it's a very good opportunity to groom your skills.

Dislikes

The classroom bench could have been better.
The Agarpara area is not clean and during rainy season the roads are filled with mud and water. Also beside college there is a big dumpyard. So that is the negative point.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is very good. Actually the placement cell is excellent. It provides various opportunities to students like internships in various MNCs. From starting of 3rd year student is eligible for internship and by the end of 3rd year student is eligible for campus drive. More than 30 companies and start-ups visit our college to hire students. Big MNCs like Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, HP, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, etc hire from our college. Highest package in 2023 was 18 LPA provided by JUSPAY. Average package is 4.5 - 5 LPA Around 85% students gets placed every year. Apart from that many students opt for GATE and government exams. Also college support us here. I want to get placed in top MNCs and become a corporate professional.
