Sometimes when we get language barriers they resolve it.and teachers in lab is so active they help each and every student to get clarity over things.
The college should provide scholarships on basis of student's skills because most of the students come from middle class family and it would be very helpful and motivating for them if college does so.
Placement scenerio of it department is about 80% percent on campus.lots of mass hiring companies visited our college like tcs, cognizant, accenture and lti.so they hire approx 60 students so placement is pretty good.

Dislikes

Fees structure i don't like as it is too high to pay and also very different fees structure is oresent here different from all other colleges
College campus is small and no tennis court no cricket ground no football ground
I am still a student in 1st year, so there is no placement this year, but the placement stats for branches other than cse is poor.

An unbiased review of Netaji Subhash Engineering College with a touch of personal experience.

Likes

Environment and overall atmosphere of the college.
It is away from city area which makes it way better than colleges located near highways.
we do get offered interships Placemnt opportunities

Dislikes

Campus is quite small, also we didn't have any alternative place to gossip with 10 friends group rather than central library.

Placement Experience:

A student becomes eligible for placements when he/she enters the 7th semester or the end of the 6th semester. Many companies like TCS, COGNIZANT, ACCENTURE, etc. do visit our campus and pick a good number of students. The average is around 6LPA. Around 90% of students get placed and the remaining opt for higher studies.

I liked the admission process of the college
I liked the sports facilities of the college
I liked the Library of the college and digital library

I didn't liked the infrastructure of the college it's very small in comparison to other colleges

The course and curriculum are very direct from Makaut, our college follows Makaut, most of the faculty members are very good, few of them are not so great in teaching, there are very good boys to girls ratio, most of the teachers have PhD holders

In sports it's have a indoor and outdoor games are there

In Netaji Subhash Engineering College campus are not big
There are lots of rules and regulations are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

For this college, I had to take the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and I took this I cracked this exam and got 34 marks out of 200 and 20000 rank This exam is not very tough but this is a game of accuracy and speed. If read ncert properly anyone can crack this exam very easily

The campus of this college is too small.

I have chosen this score as I have scored a good rank in WBJEE. The faculties of this college are very good, supportive, and friendly. The duration of this course is four years. The teaching of faculties are good. The exams are held semester-wise.

Nsec in brief

Likes

People and the shops around the building especially food stalls
The city Kolkata in general has more to explore rather than the college
The metro station, hospital and general physician stores are very near

Dislikes

The campus is very small and ends very quickly
The ground isn't very big rather it's very small even for a walk
The auditorium was also very small and freshers wasn't organised properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose ECE because of the scope it has in today's world and faculty to students ratio is 1:10 teachers are m tech qualified and some have done masters in their respective subjects Exams are conducted untimely they don't have any set calendar and the exams are easy to crack if one knows the basics of the subjects

Faculties, teachers are very good and friendly.
Common room for playing indoor games, and library.
Faculties are very good and friendly for students.

Dislikes

The overall size of the campus is not so good.
Every Classrooms does not have air conditioner.

I have chosen the course as I have been interested in electronics in the past. The faculties of this college are very supportive and friendly, they try to focus on every student's needs. However, as per sources sem for 1st yr in February.

Excellent placement with an average package of 6 lakhs
Good college life and lots of social exposure
Highly qualified and friendly faculty members for guidance

Comparatively small campus from the other colleges
The location of the college makes it less accessible
Higher course fees then all the other colleges in the state

I like the way teaching of faculty members

Campus is very small.very small play ground
Hostel facility is also not available for boys and girls
And the area locality is village type every thing is not available

In this college students are eligible for campus placement from sixth semester. The company visit here is Accenture tata consultancy services,wipro.and the highest package is 46 lakh average package is 6 lakh

Likes

College has good placement rate and the average package exceeds 6 lpa every year.
College has good campus life with lots of clubs and fun activities going around every now and then.
College has quality education with practical application provide by top professors.

Dislikes

The campus is smaller since the college is situated in the main city .
The college do not provide hostel facilities but there are lots of facility for pg mess and flats .
The college is comparatively less accessible to people travelling everydsy

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester .Few of the companies that give placements are tcs , cognizant , Wipro, Amazon, Adobe, Mahindra ,etc. Highest package offered is 60 lpa and the average package is 6 lpa with a placement rate of 90 percent My plans after getting a degree is to get into a job and then opt for higher studies.
