Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology (commonly known as RGCET) is a premier private engineering institute located in Puducherry, India under Sri Balaji Educational and Charitable Public Trust, and affiliated to Pondicherry University.

Courses offered at undergraduate level are Bio Medical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. The college also offers postgraduate courses such as Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications and M.Tech.

Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in last qualifying examination.

At undergraduate level, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology (RGCET) provides courses like Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech (Lateral) to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The courses offered are for four years and three years respectively. The number of seats depend upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.

The admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects. Candidates who have obtained the minimum required marks in their last qualifying examination are eligible to apply for B.Tech courses in Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology.

Students who have passed Diploma Examination or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in relevant discipline are eligible to take admission in B.Tech (lateral). The admission process is done on the basis of marks scored in last qualifying examination, i.e., Diploma or B.sc.

Note: Relaxation of 5% of marks is given to SC/ST candidates in comparison to 50% marks required for General candidates

At postgraduate level, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology offers three courses such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Applications and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in various specializations. The courses offered are for a duration period of two years. Intake capacity depends upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.

Candidates who have studied and passed Graduation level in relevant discipline are eligible to apply for the above mentioned courses in this college. In case, candidates fail to meet the eligibility criteria will be eliminated from the admission process.

I applied to Pkiet college in karaikal. But it was niy so good college and also very far. So I chose this college with is very near to my home just 10 mins of travel. Admission in this college is very easy. Not much of a competition. In fact there is no proper admission in this college. Students refuse to join here. Admission:

The admission process for the concerned state student will be according to the marks and the merit list. To join under management, an entrance test will be conducted, and according to the merit list selection process will be done. The eligibility to choose a course is a student must have 60 percent and above. Improvement should be done while the payment process is done and the while the admission process.

Good and best infrastructure Admission is very easy and in a smooth way The reason for preferring this college is because one of the best engineering colleges in Pondicherry and got merit seat from the central board in this college there is no entrance exam conducted in this college and I found this college in Chrome link from Google Lab facilities are available with a.c My college is one of the best go practice technology and it helps everyone to build their own career in their own perspective The fees structure are moderate and 60000/ year and exam fees are separate they will be collecting during the time The placement way is good in my college and I have interacted with alumni of the same college and they too gave a good review on their own perspective. Even I am ok with the facility which is in my college Canteen is clean and good food are provided by them both for hostelers and even for day scholar A small playground is provided for students Games fun and fest are conducted there
