Likes

The staff inside sit is really good , all are well experienced lecturers and have a good reputation.
Placements are also good with 800 + offers and avg package of 8
They give lot of importance and oppurtunities in sports and encourage students to take part in all kind of competetions. our college is the one of the best in sports in our state

Dislikes

The main auditorium which is the only auditorium of the college is not at all good
There are 3 blocks one is for 1st year, one is for 2nd and 3rd years one is for final year the fee is around 80000 the food is worst there is no dhobi poor quality food is provided.
The time table is not well structured, it's not so better for the students.

Faculties are much better than other colleges
Greenery environment Trees around college gives better look
Good placement ang awarded as 100% placement opportunity best college

Dislikes

College hostel is not good and not maintained
Hostel food is okok bcz there is limited and oily junk food
Very strict there is no other curricular activites and faculty is very strict

I heard that in the sitI heard that in the sitdaganga Institute of Technology can provide 100% placement and I also seen that in Google also we can type the which college has 100% placement of Technology here the criteria is the backlash or more in the Institute of Technology

College life at SIT

Likes

The campus is very big and good. It is green and very comforting.
Hostel has good facilities. The mess provides good food too.
The clubs in the college is also very good. It gives good time outside the college

Dislikes

The faculty members are also good, but few new teachers are a little dominant.
The fests are also low level , they usually do low budget fests.
The time table is not well structured, it's not so better for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Electronics and Communication course has a wide range of opportunities for the students. Students can go to hardware or software(It jobs or core jobs) depending on their choice of interest .The ECE branch is well disciplined and students get good number of placements.

My College

Likes

The college is very good,it has good campus and placements.
The college has very good staff ,all lectures are well experienced.
The college is also good at co curricular activities.

Dislikes

Its usual in Autonomous colleges that the students are vulnerable to few teachers.
Some lecturers are dominant over the students.
The time table is also not well structured.

Placement Experience:

In the 4th year i.e 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements .There are many companies which visit our college ,like Dell,Tata,IBM etc and they make number of offers.The highest package is around 46LPA and average is around 8LPA.Maximum number of students are placed here.My plans after getting a degree is further studies.

Review about SIT

Likes

Siddaganga Institute of technology is a great college in tumkur and has multiple benefits like it has a huge campus area of 65 acres and lots of greenery in it providing peaceful environment.
This college offers us with many coding opportunities like competitions held almost every month. These help us to learn and improve coding techniques effortlessly and in a fun way.
There are plenty of clubs in this college, each club is organised by students or different years and no faculty is involved. You can join any club depending on what it does, example dance, skit and street plays, management, event organiser etc.

Dislikes

Minimum attendance required is 85% which is hard to manage, even though it makes us attend classes but classes become hectic and hard to handle along with studies.
Marking schemes for CIE is complicated for a student to understand and obey.
Hostel life is fun but the food and cleanliness management is poor and complicated to survive daily.

Placement Experience:

there are plenty of internship opportunities from 5th semester onwards (3rd year), and apart from that many companies have come in past for placements giving highest package of 41lpa with was off campus.

Pros and cons of SIT.

Likes

The campus is huge. Lots of greenery. Good opportunities given by the college to learn coding or enhance your other skills, every month there is a coding competition in which anyone can take part in. If you enjoy coding this college will be good.
Lots of clubs such as acting, drama, aviation, coding, robotics. If you are interested in any of these, you can become a member which will eventually help you in your college life.
There are mainly two fests in this college, one is called spandana which is a cultural fest and the other is halcyon which happens during the even semester. After attending both , I personally feel that these fests are not as good as other colleges.

Dislikes

Hostel and mess are the worst part. The hostel bathrooms are not hygienic at all. The food is not decent and most of the time you won't be able to recognise which curry was prepared. So you'll have to spend most of your pocket money on outside food.
My department i.e ECE has the most sadist faculties ever. They do not have humanity at all. For example of you are late for the class just by 2 minutes they won't take you in and your attendance for that day is gone .
This college has a strict 85% attendance policy and I consider this the biggest con. And keep in mind that this is an autonomous college and you will have to follow the most bizzare course schedule you have ever seen.

Placement Experience:

Students can get their internships from the 3rd years itself and they will be provided a decent stipend too. The placements of this college are fine. The highest package was from ISE department of 41LPA in 2022. After that 31LPA was highest in 2023. If you are skillful in the current technologies and keep your CGPA good you can get placed in a good company. Very little students remain unplaced after the end of 4 years. In my department i.e ECE there percentage of students places was 91% something which is quite good for a tier 3 college. Just know that you will need to work hard and get competitive so that you can get placed.

THE ATTENDENCE IN THIS COLLEGE IS VERY STRICT AND IT SHOULD BE ABOVE 85%.
IN THIS COLLEGE THERE ARE SO MANY CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBLITY AND IT IS TOO HECTIC.
AND IN THIS COLLEGE THE FACULTY ARE VERY STRICT AND THE HOSTEL IS WORSE IN SIT.

Placement Experience:

FROM 6TH SEMESTER STUDENTS BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS THERE ARE MANY NO OF COMPANIES SUCH AS KPIT ,ORACLE , TCS, KPMG, TOSHIBA, DELLOITEAND THERE ARE AROUND 900 OFFERS AMD THE ELIGIBLE CGPA IS 7.5 CGPA AND MANY PEOPLE OPT FOR HIGHER STUDIES.

I liked environment here to explore my skills
I liked faculties, they support me studies as well as extra curricular activities like dance

Dislikes

I didn't like the time table which is made for us to class
I didn't like campus placement , because visiting of core companies are too less

Placement Experience:

For campus placement I would like to give 8 out of 10, campus placements are good in our college, by the reference of our placement stats Many of the students are placed in various companies, from 6-semester eligibility is getting to dive campus placements. Last year visited companies are Infosys, tcs, redbus, Amazon etc. The highest package in our college is 41laks, and the average package is about 6laks Most of companies hire in particular fielss are computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and information science and engineering these branches

Our college campus filled with greenery it's very good campus
Nice classrooms, faculties, well equipped laboratories placement are very good more numbers of students placed in our college
Provide quality education there are study hours for students who didn't understand during regular time

Dislikes

Students must follow strict rules implemented by college
Revaluation fee, photo copy fee are too costly compared to other colleges

Students can appear for placement in the college when they enter 6th semester. Students with backlog are not allowed for any placements, internships. The highest package last year was 32 lakhs and the average package in our college is 4.5 lakhs

The lush greenery campus it feels very good campus
The college campus placement is very good

Dislikes

Non veg is not allowed inside the campus
The canteen is very bad and it doesn't meet the expectations and it didn't offer that much of variety of food

Placement Experience:

In this college sixth sem onwards campus placement starts in sixth sem those company who offers package more 10 lakh they recruit.and in seventh sem and eight sem those company who offers package below 10 lakh they visit it. And this college placement offers are good highest package is 41.60LPA and average is around 750000LPA.

Great campus collage

Likes

Lush green campus with good amount of greenery
Large classrooms with projectors and labs are also good i7 13 Feb processor
The college placements are good with 8lpa average

Dislikes

Canteen quality only veg is available not so many options are available in canteen
Hostel facility is mid average food and not good with wifi
Teaching quality is not up to the mark some teachers didn't know about there topic

Placement of our college is good with the AVG package of 8lpa the it branchs get the placement very easy but the non it branches struggle little bit during the placements the total offers are around 800 which is good the highest package is 42lpa and it is offered by Intuit company
