The course at this college is heavily focused on syllabus-oriented teaching, primarily geared towards exam preparation. The curriculum is strictly adhered to, with limited encouragement for exploring beyond prescribed materials. Students are advised to use local author books to perform well in exams and maintain the college's pass rate. In 2010, semester fees ranged from 60,000 to 80,000 INR, with additional charges for exams and lab tests as per Anna University standards.
Placement opportunities were strong until 2010, thanks to an efficient placement officer, Mr. Mahendran, who helped students secure good positions with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). However, since his departure, placements have declined, and the current situation under Mr. Chandrasekaran is not well-defined. The college does not offer stipends, internships, scholarships, or loan facilities, requiring students to independently find and sometimes pay for industry experience and secure bank loans to finance their education.
