Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test acronym as TANCET is conducted by TNSF - Consortium i.e. Consortium of Self - Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.

TANCET is Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test for the studies in MCA, MBA, M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan. This is the eligibility exam for the studies offered by Anna University and other Government Engineering College in Tamilnadu. This is conducted by Anna University.

The college has good environment and good surroundings that made to study so peacefully and also it helps us to boost our ability to improve our IQ. Though the college is a old college they have been maintaining it clearly. The hostel food needs to be improved as many students got sick after eating food in the hostel mess.

The management always focuses on improving Park college which is their sister concern and mostly dont care about tamilnadu college of enginnering. They should include additional departments and facilities.
