OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Likes

I liked the nature friendly campus. I had a great time with the nature there. It is located in a hill.
it provides better placement than compared to the other colleges in Kollam.
It has better lab facilities as compared to other college in Kollam.

Dislikes

The location of the college is bad. It is far away from city
Takes many extra class even during free time.
There is no private bus facilities to the college. All students have to depend only on the college bus.

Internships Opportunities:

Special trained faculty is available for research of the intership. We mostly attend intership during our semester break. Mostly the interships are provided from ICT academy at TVM. Proper certificates and grade are provided that helps for the activity points to archive the university protocol.

MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Likes

Have good dedicated faculty and have staff who have both experience and some new faculty as well
Have large campus approximately 25 acres
Have bus facilities for a larger route and as well as good hostel service

Dislikes

Some times their was issue in hostel food
Their was less programs organised but in the recent time a good number of programs are happening

Internships Opportunities:

In the recent scheme of the university their is compulsory intership required for the students. It is included in he syllabus. But for us(till 2023 admission) their is no compulsory intership required but still we can go for intership if we wish to. We will get duty leave

Honest review of TKMit student

Likes

I liked the nature of teachers and faculties
They provide with our course informations and about the path
The college provides with refresing water

Dislikes

Some students are not active and not attending the college programs
Some faculty of teachers does not provide accurate percentage of attendance
The college is not providing us time for more club activities

Internships Opportunities:

As a first year I don't know more about internships but as well as hearing news we got to understand that the college faculties are constantly trying to get more and more companies into our college for internships and other opputunities

The Techno-Cultural Fests, one of India's largest Tech fest is held in our college.
One of The best placement cell in India, top companies hire from our college.
The campus, so peaceful and enjoyable campus lifestyle.

Internships Opportunities:

Many Indian and International companies provide internships for our college students, NIT's and IIT's also provide internships for our students. The also provide intra college workshops too. Our students can attend workshops within oru college itself.

The View for TKM

Likes

Faculty members are more friendly. TKM has its own syllabus therfore teaching style is good
Seniors are more friendly than any other collage.
Collage atmosphere is almost peace and calm. Even the collage situated at rural area,nice people and climate

Dislikes

Campus area is less. Need to improve the infrastructure
Modern class rooms are still pending. Principal not considering it
Need more practical environment. Practical class are less

Internships Opportunities:

Even from first year students can go for intership. But collage says they give free intenship so don't go for paid internship. Ibm provides intership and also webe kerala provides it. Each semster project will make us this understand

Likes

I like the design and campus of the college. It is very beautiful. There we can see many minarates everywhere in the college. We conduct mang programs in this college and every one loves it. Every one including faculties are very kind and friendly.
The hostel foood is very tasty and healthy. We have fitness facilites in the college.
We can make many friends here. We can improve our skills very well. And this college has the best campus in kerala

Dislikes

Nothing much ... but. I dont like the night curphew
The place where the college is situated is a non cultural place.
Food in kollam district where the college is situated is very nad

Internships Opportunities:

Our college gives internship opertunities for maximum 6 months. After 5 th semester, we will get internships. We will get foriegn companies and indian companies for internships. We cam make more expirience in our field. College offers many internship opertunities

Likes

Eco friendly campus , since the college is located more likely in between forest..
Good infrastructure , the college is built in a decent manner. Food technology department is a little far from other departments.
Library. The library is spacious and provide printing facilities.

Dislikes

Library . It lacks books, novels.It only has books required for studying btech.
Management. Since the college is self financed and a btech college.the management won't provide enough money for programmes , other activities etc. For arts programme ،we had to put 1500/- per person.
Campus . There's no good spaces to sit and talk when compared to other colleges

Internships Opportunities:

There's is an iedc club in our college. It provides internships, workshops etc. there will be a workshop happening after few days .it's a one week workshop.both offline and online.ots fees was 2000. 3-DAY Internship on IOT IEDC TKMIT in association with ICT Academy, is offering a 3- day intership program on IoT and it's applications now.

Likes

The college is covered by a peaceful atmosphere
The faculties are very friendly towards students
The campus is very clean and beautiful a lot of things to explore

Dislikes

Parking facilities are less there is no extra place is allowed for parking
The college is situated away from the main road so transportation facilities are not sufficient
Thers is no health centres and hospitals near the college

Internships Opportunities:

Many of the companies provide internships for students we did a three days internship on AUTOCAD worshop and also learned phython programming we did a water proof drone project and working of laser and its parts

Likes

Technical and cultural events organised.
The faculties are very supportive throughout curriculum
There is no ragging, seniors are supportive

Dislikes

The campus area of college is less compared to other engineering college
Local facilities are not available near to college
Hospitals are far away. There are no many parks

Our college give us so many internship options on every sem. They are so affordable and usefull to us. So many companies are coming to our college to provide interships with valuable certificates. For me all the internships that i have attended are very good.
