National Centre for Biological Sciences is in Bangalore,Karnataka is a research centre specializing in biological research.It is part of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research under the department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India.Students who are willing to take admission in this college have to appear and qualify for an entrance examination conducted by the university.After qualifying the entrance exam students are called for an interview.

The institution provides with MSc biology course. The interested students must have completed Graduation in science with atleast 50 percent marks. Then they will have to give the entrance exam. The selected students will be called for the admission.

I registered myself in the college's website and had to appear for the college's entrance exam based on which final selection was done.Applicants qualifying ICMR/GATE examination also need to appear for the written test conducted by the college to pursue the P.hd programme.

I had to appear online for the online entrance exam conducted by our college . Joint Graduate Entrance exam for biology and interdisciplinary Life sciences is the online exam which i had to qualify followed by the on campus interview and scientific write up for the final selection.

A candidate who has cleared plus 2 and TIFR JEE is selected for applying. After shortlisting based our marks we will have to go to the center for interview with the original certificates. Based on the interview and certificate verification, we will be admitted in the course.

All Under graduate students in any discipline with 50% marks have to appear for NEE exam by TIFR. On selection, candidates will be called for interview in the campus with all mandatory documents specified in the application form.

Admission is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university. I filled two separate forms for two different subjects and appeared for two separate entrance tests. Students are called for counselling based on their test scores.
