Hotel and Catering Management Institute (HCMI) was established by the Vidya Jyoti Educational Society to provide Hospitality education in 2003. The institute is located in Chandigarh and affiliated to I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG-PTU). At present, the institute offers UG, PG and Diploma programs in Hotel Management.
- Admission to all UG Courses is done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 from the recognized board.
- The minimum eligibility for PG programs is candidates must have completed graduation in any stream.
- For MHMC, Selection is done through entrance exam, conducted by the HCMI Chandigarh.

HCMI Chandigarh BHMCT, BCCA, BTTM Admission 2024
The institute offers full time three years BCCA, BTTM, and four years BHMCT programs. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from the recognized board are eligible to apply for all the UG programs.
Selection will be based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam.

HCMI Chandigarh MHMC, MTTM Admission 2024
The institute offers two years MHMC and MTTM. Candidates seeking admission to MHMC or MTTM must have completed graduation in any specialization from the recognized University. Candidates who have completed three years Diploma or Degree in Hotel/ Hospitality Management are eligible to do MHMC program on executive mode.
For MTTM, seats will be allotted on the basis of marks in graduation. Admission to MHMC will be done on the basis of marks obtained in entrance exam which is conducted by the institute itself.
