- Candidates must have passed Graduation under 10+2+3 scheme with 50% marks (45% marks for OBC/SC/ST candidates).
- Final year candidates can also apply.
- Also, candidates must have a CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA score.

- IPS accepts CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA or any state level or central level test score.
- There is no cut-off predefined, but the merit is prepared on the basis of general profiling based on 10th, 12th, Graduation marks, Work experience, Entrance exam score for Interview/Telephonic Interview and final selection.
