I would say it is absolutely worth every penny. The environment, infrastructural support, the kind of exposure students get in terms of industry visits, excursions, trips etc. makes it a real value-for-money place.

Placement starts with the training of students by the CDC team, which starts with grooming on soft skills, personality development, aptitude and language ability. It also conducts Mock Interviews, Group Discussions and presentations. TCS, Lido Learning, Learning Routes, Extramarks, ByJu’s and Genpact are some of the companies which came last year.

Ample opportunities are provided to have first-hand industry exposure in the form of regular industrial visits, sessions by corporate leaders and other professionals. We have an IMA student chapter, through which we get the opportunity to interact with the experts from the industry. Entrepreneurship cell and alumni network also support us to enhance our professional skills. The placements of the college are fabulous with premiere companies visiting for campus selection including TCS, Lido Learning, Learning Routes, Extramarks, ByJu’s and Genpact.

We have an active Entrepreneurial Development Center and a huge Alumni network. Alumni meet us occasionally and guide us about career and other important aspects. The Placement officers are very supportive. I am an active member of Apratim Udhyamita Entrepreneurship Development Center, which has provided me with various platforms to sharpen my entrepreneurial skills. Apart from that, the institute is dedicated to providing Placements to its students. Students are given extensive training in Soft Skills and Aptitude by a dedicated Career Development Cell to make them Industry ready.

We have regular Aptitude and spoken English classes. For our personality development, there are special classes in which interview preparation is taken care of. Right from writing a resume to how to present yourself in an interview every part is properly explained. This helped me a lot in my interview, as a result, I got selected in 4 different companies.

Placements are increasing from the past couple of years. Reputed companies and ventures are recruiting the students with excellent offers. Highest package offered this year is 10LPA. Average package is 5 LPA. Various pre placement activities are conducted to provide an experience and necessary skills to assist in Placements. Undergraduate students are also offered good packages in companies like ICICI Prudential, Indian Money, and Silaris Information.

The Entrepreneurship Center, named Apratim Udhyamita organizes various activities which help students in acquiring Entrepreneurial skills. Apart from this, the Career Development Cell is continuously training on aptitude skills and communication skills help in further placement process. Placements at IIMR which is 100% for many years. The Placements at IIMR are conducted in a very structured and strategic way so that each and every student gets the opportunity.
