IIBS MBA Admission 2026

Admissions to the MBA program at IIBS Bangalore are based on a combination of entrance exam scores, academic performance, and performance in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The 2026-28 batch admissions are currently open. Candidates with valid scores in CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, or IIBSAT are eligible to apply. The application fee is Rs. 1,000 (online payment).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).
• Final-year graduation students can also apply provisionally.
• Valid scores in at least one of the accepted entrance exams: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, or IIBSAT.
• Work experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Admission Process

• Visit www.iibs.edu.in and fill out the online application form; pay the application fee of Rs. 1,000.
• Submit academic documents (graduation mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, ID proof, passport-size photographs).
• Shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) at the IIBS campus or online.
• Merit list is prepared based on academic performance, entrance exam score, GD and PI performance.
• Selected candidates receive an offer letter and must pay the registration fee of Rs. 1,00,000 to confirm the seat.
• Scholarship assessment is done simultaneously during the admission process.
• Batch commences in June/July 2026.

IIBS MBA Scholarships 2026

IIBS Bangalore offers a comprehensive scholarship program for MBA students, including merit-based, entrance exam-based, and special category scholarships. The total scholarship amount can go up to Rs. 1,95,000 for male students and Rs. 2,20,000 for female students. Scholarships are awarded during the admission phase and are subject to maintaining 80% attendance each semester.

• Students are eligible for only one of the best applicable scholarship options (except the Dr. Jay Foundation and Smt. B Devi scholarships which are additional).
• Scholarship continuation requires maintaining 80% attendance every semester.
• The IIBS Scholarship Committee reserves the right to alter, modify, or withdraw any scholarship provisions.
• Scholarship seats are limited; students should apply early.

IIBS MBA Placement 2026

IIBS Bangalore has a strong placement record for its MBA program. The 2022-24 batch recorded a highest package of Rs. 48 LPA and the 2023-25 batch saw a highest package of Rs. 59.50 LPA (combined PGDM/MBA). The average package for the 2023-25 batch was Rs. 8.75 LPA. For the March-April 2026 placement drive, leading global organizations including EY GDS, Grant Thornton, JPMorgan Chase, PwC, Wells Fargo, D.E. Shaw, Goldman Sachs, BP, and Bank of America are expected to recruit from the 2024-26 batch. Key recruiters include Finastra, Axis Bank, OYO, Publicis Sapient, Paytm, Piramal, EY GDS, Amazon, TCS, Mercedes Benz, and Jaro Education.
