KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIMIS) was established in 2008 by KV Charitable Trust in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. KVIMIS is affiliated to Anna University and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The Institute offers full-time MBA program with total 120 seats and full-time and part-time Ph.D. course with 6 specializations.
- Application form is made available on the website of the institute to download. Candidates shall send the application form through the post with DD attached to it.
- Those who have completed Bachelor’s Degree course in any discipline with minimum 50% marks and 45% for the reserved category are eligible to get admission into MBA program.
- Applicants with Master’s Degree in management stream with minimum 55% marks are eligible for admission.
- Selection of the candidates for MBA program is done based on their merit in TANCET / MAT / XAT / ATMA / CET / CAT / AICET and performance in the interview conducted by the institute.
- Admission to the applicants into the Ph.D. program is given on the basis of their merit in Entrance Exam and Interview.

KVIMIS MBA Eligibility:
Candidates seeking admission to BBA program should have passed in a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% (OC, FC, Other State)/ 45 % (Others). The equivalent degree can be 10+2+3 years pattern/ 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern / B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. / 10+2+AMIE* / 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.*
- Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible EXCEPT, B.E. / B.Tech. and MCA degree courses.
- Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degree obtained through Distance / Weekend mode are not eligible.
- Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th, 12th Std. or 3 years degree program are not eligible.
KVIMIS MBA Selection Process:
Candidates having a valid score in TANCET/ CAT/ MAT/XAT/ ATMA/ CET/ AICET will be shortlisted for the admission. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview for final selection.
Note: There are 60 seats under the Management Quota and 60 seats under Convener Quota.

KVIMIS Ph.D. Admission 2024
Candidates have the option to choose from full-time and part-time Ph.D. programs in the field of management. Applicants with a Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks for OC and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Challenged category are eligible for admission.
Admission to the applicants is given based on their merit in the qualifying examination, entrance test and interview. Candidates who have UGC, UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/ teacher fellowship holder are exempted from written test and interview.

Key Points:

KVIMIS MBA Admissions - How to Apply?
Application form is to be submitted offline only. Interested candidates can follow the steps given below to successfully fill the application form:

- Under the admission, tab click on the Admission Application Form.
- Download the application form.
- Fill in all the details and attach all documents.
- Submit a Demand Draft of INR 300 in favor of KV Charitable Trust, payable in Coimbatore.
- Post it to the Admission Department of the Institute.
