Kousali Institute of Management Sciences, Dharwad was established in 1976. It is affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The vision of the institute is to be a model business school and be in forefront of business education, consultancy and research. The mission of the institute is to prepare young managers with commitment to profession and loyalty towards the organization they work for, and train them to play the role of genuine change agent with a strong sense of business ethics. The institute is located at Dharwad, Hubli which is well connected to nearest business hubs in Bangalore (422 kms), Mumbai (600 kms), Goa (210 kms), Pune (420 kms) by roadways and railways & Hubli is the nearest airport.

My KIMS College Review

Admission:

My journey with the KIMS college was pretty eccentric. I learned a lot, gained a lot and all the while enjoying myself. Finance being my major area of concern, helped me get a better grasp of the things and methods of financial management. College infrastructure, in fact, the entire campus was lit with positive vibes uplifting your mood and providing an ideal setup for learning. Extracurricular activities were limited though, but it helped us dedicate more time to learning.

Admission:

My MBA program from the Kousali Institute of Management Studies was a program triggered the blending of different cultures. We got to visit many MNCs during our corporate visits and interacted with different people. Our college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience.

The course curriculum was good & up-to-date. Since we had some practising Managers who took some courses / classes- it was also a good thing, since they were stressing more on the practical aspects rather than purely the theoretical ones mentioned in the syllabus.
