Faculties are so friendly and supportive with well equipped knowledge and social contacts

Faculty:

There are 3classes 1st years ,second years and 3rd years ,for us there are 5 faculties ,Faculties are extremely supportive and knowledge pooled expertises.They support very well in our research and guides us well.Especially we love Jerry sir and thirumagal mam ,they are so good people, we have 2 internals and 1 semester exam per semester.It is fine if we write 1 internals .They will choose the best one out of 2 in regards of marks

MSSW: A hidden haven?

Freedom in how we express ourselves. This department in particular is very open with it and faculty and very open minded to students struggles.

Dislikes

Department feuds may not openly exist, however they are very much present and can be problematic as the faculty themselves engage in it at times which can egg students on.

Faculty:

Faculty from UG Psych dept. are incredibly approachable. There are around 7-8 faculty excluding the language professors. But even they are extremely friendly, open and helpful to students. It also matters how you approach them. All the faculty are good in their own way. Like every department, there is internal politics but not to the extent that it will affect students marks, etc. They are mature enough to keep their personal feelings out of a students future. There's three exams a semester. Two Internal Class Assesments and one End semester. Questions for the papers are set appropriatly as most material is covered or given as reference. It is extremely relevant to the course.

Faculty members are approachable and even our Principal has an open door policy for any concerns that need to be addressed.

Dislikes

A few faculty members don't take classes regularly

Faculty:

The department of psychology had adequate faculty members to be at par with the students and the teacher-students ratio was well maintained. The faculty was well qualified, empathetic with the students and motivating.
