Admission to the MBA courses is based on entrance exam scores (CAT/XAT/CMAT), followed by GD & PI. The important details are as follows-

Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks to be eligible for the admission process.
Candidates should have secured a minimum cutoff percentile in the entrance exam scores to get shortlisted for GD & PI process.
Minimum Cutoff Percentile: CAT/XAT (60 percentile), CMAT (70 percentile) for MBA HRM in 2025.
Final admission is based on entrance exam scores (40% weightage)+ GD (10% weightage)+PI(20% weightage) +Academics (20% weightage)+Diversity(10% weightage).

*Note:

Interested Candidates need to fill out a college-specific application form (other than entrance exams), to participate in the admission process at the institute.
The application form fee is INR 2000 + 18% GST= INR 2360.
Candidates need to fill the form carefully, as only one application form is allowed per Aadhar card with a maximum of two specialisation choices.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure is simple. It is divided in trimesters for 2 year I.e. 6 trimesters in total. You can easily apply for loan if you want to opt for it and there are various scholarships opportunities depending on your academics and cultural activities. Placements are good when considering the fees

Dislikes

Course curriculum can be made more pratical as it is quite theoretical in nature
Pratical exposure can be improved like more guest lectures and seminars

Tution fees in my time were 10 lakhs which included two industrial and one rural trip. As par fees are concerned it is quite less than other B.schools. Scholarships are there for rank holders, and students belonging to the Sc/ St community. Campus employment is restricted as far as I know.

An Overview of XISS

The total fee is divided into 6,one for each trimester.The fee hike policy is simple and not too much.Cost to study is cheaper in XISS compared to other B-Schools.It is around 15 lakhs for two years. There are various scholarships for various achievements.There is no financial assistance.Campus placement is really good,with some famous companies like Borosil,Tata AIG,Tata Steel,Aditya Birla among the recruiters.

XISS a place to get MBA

Nothing u will get. 1700 building. Gloomy atmosphere. Every period will be 75 mins. Wooden chair through out the day. Internship stipend u will get 10k-15k even in 2020. Placement packages - 3 to 8 lacs maximum One person got10lacs

My college fees were taken fully when I got admitted in college, the fees are 15000 and fees like dresses exam sheets are fees are taken but not enough, some 100 to 500. The scholarship given has come from the Indian government and no financial services I got no job, but I am trying my best

Well, the fees for the entire 2 years was 850000/- which is quite feasible considering the ROI. Considering PGDM which is obviously costly, XISS is a well-renowned and esteemed college that provides campus placement at an affordable rate

My Life at XISS, Ranchi

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure the program I opted for is 9 lakh for two years excluding hostel or mess charges. Furthermore, our college has scholarship provision for those working in TATA steel, Maruti, NTPC and other corporate houses. However, I did not get any scholarship as I don't fulfil any criteria but apart from the college scholarship, the state government also provide the same to those belonging to SC and ST category. Moreover, our college provide bank loans to the financially weak students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've taken the admission this year and during this pandemic the college has decided to take the classes online. An orientation program is also being conducted before the commencement of the class. Webinars are also being conducted every other day to keep the students informed about every activities and to help us to make the most out of these crucial days.
