The Maths department comprises 10 faculty members, resulting in a student-to-faculty ratio of 50:1. The faculty is supportive, providing assistance in both academic and non-academic matters. Exams occur twice a year, following a semester system, and are generally manageable. The college does not have a direct campus placement program, but it offers internships starting in the third year. Last year, TCS provided internships on campus, focusing on data analytics roles, though these did not offer any stipends.
Students must submit a report and presentation on their internship, which counts towards their grades. Many students aim for civil services after graduation. The annual college fees total 19,132 INR, which includes a tuition fee of 17,900 INR and 1,232 INR for development and lab fees. A refundable deposit of 5,000 INR is required upon admission. Through the MMVY scheme, eligible students can receive up to 120,000 INR per year to cover the full college fees for science programs.
