Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous Bangalore: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 2 Reviews

The media faculty at the college is highly esteemed and recognized as the best department. It provides an enriching learning experience through interactive workshops and various entertainment mediums. Numerous companies from cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi, as well as international firms, visit the college for recruitment, creating ample job opportunities for students. While there is a notable psychology internship with Counsel India offering a stipend of 5000 INR, students generally need to secure their internships independently.

The college's job fairs reportedly fall short in effectively connecting students with job or internship opportunities. The annual fee for a triple major is 55,000 INR, despite the removal of a third subject due to the National Education Policy (NEP), while journalism combinations cost 65,000 INR per year. The hostel fee ranges from 8,000 to 9,000 INR, but the quality of housing and meals is subpar, with complaints of unsanitary conditions, including worms and cockroaches in the food.
