Karim city - A dream of many

What I like the most about my college is all the teachers are staffs are so interactive,they won't let you feel like apart, no partiality nothing everybody is friendly even the seniors, juniors everybody. No fear of getting ragged or discriminated.
Talking about infrastructure of college campus, very well impressed with lab faculties and departments.
They say and promise about well reputed placement which I saw of my own, so my course in this college is trustworthy.

Dislikes

What I dislike is the food is a bit not affordable to eat daily.
If you are regularly travelling and coming to college 5 days in a week it cost me of 150/- , after that spending 100/- on canteen food I don't think it's cool.
Campus should have been a bit more wider to organize football and further matches.

Placement are unbelievable,in these few days who so ever person i met during my college events those passed out seniors, their review about their present life and package surprise me in many ways. I pray the best for mine too.

The campus was very neat and clean every facility was there like changing room ,game room ,prayer room and there was a park type land also ,I like the overall natural environment there so about environment it's good
The quality of social interaction was good and and also my engagement with campus life was nice I used to go college daily whithout even missing my periods on time.so it's all about your interest if you like to study come and study
The faculty expertise was good there are many senior teacher I like the teaching method of them was simple and logical and also some are good mentors there helping online and offline also by one on one conversation

Dislikes

The thing I disliked honestly was boys and girls making the environment very bad . Many students bunks the class and roaming here and there and doing unnecessary things and skipping studies and indulging in other activities rather than study
The guards and teachers were not strich regarding this matter they didn't scold them as they are skipping class so the students carelessly roaming here and there because they no nothing is going to happen because teachers are not strict
Some teachers are not so good they are unable to manage students in the class properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I want to do iit and for giving jee mains and advance it requires intermediate and science for this reason I chose the college. Yaa this college prepare but not upto that level which I needed Do improvement in younger teacher which are less experienced And overall timing and exam was good

Life at karim city college jamshedpur

College fees structure is very good for the students who wanted to study without any tention they also borrow books from library so overall it is good
The games and cultures are soo impressive they always focused on giving there students best platform whether in studies or any cultural events and sports
The guidance and the faculty members of the college are good they support and guide every students for studies whenever they need

Dislikes

Classes should be morning because I've attended afternoon classes which is not comfortable for me because I've to reschedule everything from the start because i work
Washroom should be cleaned properly there washrooms and classroom maintenance should be more important they should improve that !
Placement drives are low they should work on that so that everyone can get a better opportunity after completing there degree!

I selected bcom hons because my field is commerce from the school time so thats why I have selected that course so that in future i get better opportunity in finance sector like accounting. Thus this course helped me to gain more knowledge in the commerce field for day to day financial activities. They should work on placements and internships for the students. The exams times are quite good enough to prepare for the examination and therefore the difficulty is around i guess 10/7

Likes

Room are neat and clean and well maintained
Library was awesome you read the in the library without any disturbance
Faculty are too good their behaviour are too good

Dislikes

Parking is not good

I want to graduate that why the intermediate are necessary that's why I chose these course .I prepare very well for these exam because I think after matriculation if we do intermediate there is a lengthy syllabus so we have to prepare well

Karim City College. An Affordable Option for Mass Comm Aspirants

Likes

Freedom of Work and Inclusion of Students in every event and department irrespective of there courses.
Teachers are supportive and specially department always likes to provide you with facilities and willingness to go further for the development of you as a student
Alumni and there regular intervention in guiding Juniors for better counselling and right career path

Dislikes

Dress Code is not manditory but it is there
Campus could have been bigger and better
Canteen food can be improved regardless there are some very good food

Fees and Financial Aid:

Per Semester fee Rs.12000 excluding Examinations fees of approx 600-1000 every end semester exams which depends on your course and curriculum also the type of Student you are.

Likes

The faculties teacher,s are very good and coperative.
Classroom is pretty good . And banchess is also good.
Lab assistant is also nice, over college clean waterproof.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good . Lab computer is too old
Over college doesn't provide extra activities.
Washroom is not clean, building is too old .

Our professional course is good enough to get a job , And our college provide placement . Our college provide lab and practice for students to experience real world project and teachers are also help us.

The Review of KCC

Likes

Great faculty , teacher were best in explaining there subject
Gaming room always open to sit and talk with mates .
We have a reading room , free computer for use . And a canteen too

Dislikes

The campus is too small and students are too many in the entire college.
Washroom were not always cleans especially the boys one
The classes are too less in timetable, there were only one lecture by one sir per week

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is too outdated as compared to other big University in our own state too . And it does not have any relevance with the current topics of the market , you would be learning definately zero knowledge from these course

A beautiful memory of any batchelor

Likes

Teachers and facilities were very cooperative
Books were always available on time in clg library
Events and functions are organised very constantly making it very interesting to visit clg

Dislikes

Small campus area makes the college very small for outdoor games
No as such placement was provided by the clg
The faculties were not so strict to manage the students

Placement Experience:

It is told that students are ready for placement after sem 5 but in our case no as such placement was provided by the college But the history says that the average placement package is of around 4 lpa where the max package was of 8 lpa There are many options after this course completion where all the ideas and strategies Will be provided by the college

Unbiased Insights on college life and Academics

Likes

There is no such pressure of the academics as they are easy to pass, because of this we can focus more on skills.
The peers are supportive and competitive which motivates you.
No pressure on attendance, no need for 75% attendance.

Dislikes

The systems and the course curriculum are very outdated.
The college faculty shows no interest in development of skills.
No internal hackathons or competitions are arranged, only dance and music competition are held frequently.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the parts of software engineering that are required, but comparing it to the real world scenarios it doesn't prepare you for placements , it should include something like web or app development, how does a website is made and how it works. The exams are very irregular, it doesn't happens in time. It takes a year to conduct a semester exam, which should be taken in a span of 6 months.

Limited Campus and no placement Life

In college class is regular teacher are really good
Also computer lab is good and also we are doing programs in computer
The classess are taken of all subjects including mdc,

Dislikes

The campus is very small so sports activities are zero
Techfest or any other hackathon like stuff is not organized in the college
Also the exams are taken too late so we are in i the same serm for more than year

Choose this course cz I have intrest in IT sector so if you wanna become swe you can ofcourse choose this course.teaching can become more good if they take class. In labs instead of writing code we directly run it
