University College of Technology, Osmania University Hyderabad Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

University College of Technology, Osmania University offers four years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program with an annual intake of 100 seats.

For admission in B.Tech course, a candidate must have passed in the 10+2 level or Intermediate Examination of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will have to clear the Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Telangana.

Admission done on the basis of merit in the State Entrance Test TS EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana State.

Candidates belonging to other than Telangana State, will be selected on the basis of merit in JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) examination conducted by CBSE.

Osmania University's College of Technology B.Tech Cutoff 2024

The table given below shows Osmania University's College of Technology TS EAMCET Cutoff 2024 for Round 1.

University College of Technology, Osmania University offers M.Tech. course at postgraduate level. The M.Tech program is offered under nine different specialization subjects. All the M.Tech courses are full time regular degree courses, offered with the duration of two years. The course intake is 18 seats for each of the M.Tech specializations.

Admissions to the M.Tech courses are done on the basis of merit in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). If sufficient number of candidates with GATE qualification not available for admission or candidates who have not passed the GATE examination will also be considered for admission against the remaining seats on the basis of their performance in Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET)  conducted by the Government of Telangana State.

To apply for the M.Tech program, candidates must hold a B.E /B.Tech degree in the relevant branch of Engineering with at least 55% marks. Candidates who have appeared for B.Tech. Final examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the M.Tech program.

• Two supernumerary seats are reserved for the candidates sponsored by the Teaching/ Research/ Industrial establishments situated under the jurisdiction of Osmania University.
• The sponsored candidates must hold at least two years’ experience and they are also required to possess a valid GATE score card or PGECET score.

In addition to the M.Tech program, OUCT Hyderabad also offers Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degree program to the aspiring candidates. The two-year M.Pharm degree program is provided with two specializations. The course intake is 18 seats for both of the specializations.

For the M.Pharm program, candidates need to hold a B.Pharm. degree from a recognized university and obtain minimum required marks.

Admission to the M.Pharm program is done either through General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).

At the doctoral level, University College of Technology, Osmania University offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program to the research aspiring candidates. The Ph.D. programs are offered in numerous disciplines of Engineering and Pharmaceutics.

In order to apply for the research programs, candidates need to hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant discipline and obtain a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
