- Our college provides the best scholarships for each and every student who studies in our college
- The campus was really nice and big. the faculty is amazing
- Mcc conducts frequent sports events for the students who are interested in sports and helps them to get better opportunities.
Dislikes
- Except for the 2 new halls, the infrastructure of the other 4 halls is in very bad condition For internal examinations and all the portions are not yet continuous the are simply scattered so for while preparing for exams it feels little difficult.
- It's is casual that some the faculties are bad at teaching and in class participation.
- Some staffs use their power and threaten students.

From childhood itself i like this sports field so i chose to make a career in sports
Technical elements needs to improve,the college is still in that old vibe
The internal exam is always for 50 marks, and it's very easy it will be two hours

.I choose this course for to write upsc exams Economics is the major subject in upsc and I love economics from my school it'self so i prefer this course.... and currently I am doing good so I will sure that I will write upsc exam and i get clear with the subject knowledge

- i didn't like the approach of the staffs
- There isn't any rule in the college so I prefer some rule to have control over the students
- some places were not clean and I hope it doesn't happen again

As per the india education system i don't think any specific curriculum prepares you for the world , it's just we pay for the 3 years of time and a certificate to prove people we are something, and the teaching method is nothing but reading the book and saying it out loud.

The course curriculum in madras christian college is generally well regarded. They offers many courses in undergraduate and post graduate. MCC well established reputation to contribute to a curriculum that not only meets the academic expectations but also prepares the students for professional challenges.

- The events of the college were extremely vast that gave students a wider opportunity to be able to showcase talents.
- The campus of the college is quite refreshing to be in comparing it to the hot weather of Chennai.
- The college gives space to students to organise events and to learn how to manage important events like Deepwoods and respective department events.
Dislikes
- The management was often quite lagging and cancelled events in the last year of college due to issues in the student body.
- The procuring of halls or classrooms for any events were a hassle and it led to a lot of issues and procedures.
- The presence of more hall events when compared to other events for students who live outside the halls.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The wide range of texts available in the curriculum urged me to choose this particular course in the college. Unlike most colleges, the course had a unique approach towards English literature that fascinated me. The curriculum prepared me for real world challenges quite well as it helped me communicate and to write better.
The frequency of examinations are quite minimal with two internal exams and one semester exam each semester. The third internal exam will be an assignment out of which the best out of three will be taken for evaluation.

- The surrounding in the college looks very good when compared to other colleges
- Madras Christian College the name is a well known for every one this makes the college more special
Dislikes
- When compared to past ten years before the college students were very good in everything but now it is totally changed
- The staffs are very rude by blackmailing the students with theri powers
- The attendance is the biggest problem in my college

There are more placement offers are coming to the campus of my college
The eligibility students are undergraduate of 3rd year and the postgraduate of 2nd year students will receive the placement cell offers

- Best staffs, as they have better experience in same campus as students. And very good attendance system as hour based attendance.
- History of MCC. As it has a very rich history and everything about it would be fascinating. Mcc has one of the best environment as we could locate deer amd monkeys everywhere.
- Love the tradition followed by every department, students, staffs and halls(hostel).
Dislikes
- Strict tradition of hall. As followers are forced to follow a lots of rules. But they really have a great future in it, as they are disciplined in it. And we could unfollow it if we are not ok with the rules.
- Not so strict faculty. No rules in college for students would be irritating sometime.
- Not so good canteen food for dayscholars. We cpuld also find flies in it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum are well advanced.
They also includes practical learning in it for all science field and for arts we use to have subject related survey to conduct.
This ensures public interaction and real life learning.
Field trips are made.
In 6 months of a semester 2 written exams would be conducted on 2 months gap in it.
Practical projects are made.

- My college actually make me proud cause it's one of the oldest colleges in the world.
- Our college's cultural event " Deepwoods " is the oldest college cultural event in asia.
- As it is built in 1837 , it stills give an older vibe when we enter.
Dislikes
- I hate the principal, who aims to stop all the funs of students.
- The management gets influenced by other colleges and started to stop events followed for years
- Management also interrupts in the college traditions that is been followed for more than 85 years
Placement Experience:
From 5 semester students start attending placements.
College also provides placement training to students from their 3 semester.
Campus placement is provided from BIG 4 companies.
Average salary is 12LPA.
Highest can be anything based on the student's skill.

- The faculty is basically friendly in all the aspects
- The environment is clean and tidy, tbh the air is so fresh inside the campus
- The college still follows the traditions or at least tries It’s best to try the traditions.
Dislikes
- The new principal is not giving importance to culturals like before.
- We had flash mobs before but now there are no flash mobs
- The college is slightly partial to Christian students
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is good and as of my department the curriculum is so nice and kinda has many practical applications, still in my point of view I guess the written exam curriculum could be more relevant to the new media, it is mostly based on history, history is good.... Tbh I love 'em still it is mostly based on history and it could be better if it also suits the modern era

Yes, you are eligible for admission to MA economics course as the eligibility criteria mentioned by the institute for admission to MA program is a Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from recognized University.
MCC does not conduct its own entrance examination for MCA. The college accepts the valid scores of the TANCET examination for providing admission to the MCA course.
