In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!

To make students better, placements cell of our college arranges CIRT Classes. Like this year all the third year students has to attend that mandatorily. So that increases the chances of placements. This is one of the major factor why our placements ratio now is around 80% which was earlier just the 60%.

Our College has a separate training and placement cell that helps student prepare for placements. Training and Placement classes are provided thrice in a week. Mock tests are conducted in last year of course as well.

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Decoding Oriental Institute of Science and Technology

From 6 th semester the students became eligible for campus placements. Mostly mass recruiters like TCS and other companies come and take students. The percentage of students getting placed is about 84 percent. I hope I also get place.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

The placement scene of college is improved from last year . Because from 2022 there were really few companies the have had been visited the college but since last year , there is a huge spike in the companies that are visiting the college . However the companies are giving average packages like . 3 LPA , 4 LPA , 5 LPA but at least there are packages .
