The course offers a comprehensive and industry-relevant education focusing on practical skills such as news writing, editing, article writing, and language enhancement, which are essential for students aspiring to work in the industry. While the course does not include formal placements or campus recruitment drives, it equips students with valuable knowledge that supports further studies and career development. Students are required to pay fees at three stages of their academic journey: during the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years, along with additional exam fees, which are the second-highest in the college.
At the time of admission, students must pay an initial fee of 14,000, followed by smaller semester-wise payments of around 700 or 200 to complete the fee package. Despite the limited placement opportunities, the program is considered an affordable option for obtaining a degree.
