The financial help is the one of good digital gujarat scholarships that helps us as financially.
Professor are very good in terms of their lectures and teaching methods.
I like the hostel facilities of my college because it is very cheap.

Dislikes

Computer departments dew faculty are very rude , acts very aggressive.
Computer department HOD is not supportive for the students, behavior is very rude.
Hostel facility very bad in college in both hostel .

GEC Rajkot provide comprehensive eduction with strong placement record and good intership.

Likes

Placement ratio is very good and growth in Opportunities is absolutely fantastic.
Faculty are well educted and most of them are at least done M.tech and some faculty also done P.H.D. Faculty of the gec rajkot follow proper schedule for study and teaching method is fabuloustic.
College has huge library, campus us larged enough to other colleges and college has canteen also.[overall infrastructure of college is excellent].

Dislikes

Some faculties are poor in taking assignment and submission.
Less curricular activities compared to other colleges.
Higher placement only come from computer department, other departments have lower average placement ratio, they focus more on internships.

Student become elidible for campus placement from the end of 6th semesteer. GEC Rajkot's recruiter companies are reliance industrial limited, Bolt, Weybee solution, TaravaSoft, Adani, Simform, WebOccult and many more. Highest packegein 2024 was 7.4 LPA from computer, mechanical and electrical department. Average package is around 4 LPA in computer department. Roughly 50% students are placed last year.

college has canteen , huge library and campus is huge enough compared to other colleges . ( Overall infrastrucutre of college is excellent )

The reality behind the government engineering college in Saurashtra Gujrat.

Likes

The HOD of the department actually cares about all the students that are studying.
The campus is pretty big and have many building for different departments.

Dislikes

The labs are almost never open and used.
Computers used in computer labs are very old and slow.
The male to female ratio is very low (about 3/5).

Placement Experience:

The situation of the placement available in this college are not good as the number of Company that come to this college are very limited And don't even pay too many students they take one or two students per year and because of that the ratio of placement respect to the number of students graduated are very low.

Likes

college campus is big clean and beautiful
our faculties are understanding and very helpful

Dislikes

average package is very low and not enough
they don't care about us much we should have to study ourselves

Placement Experience:

the main thing is that my course (robotics and automation) is a new course in this college so the most senior students of this course are also in 5th sem now so i cant tell about my placements but in other courses the placements are not very good it's only 4-5 lakh per annum which is considerably low and very less students got placements in this college.

Collage campus has greenary and cleaness

Dislikes

Collage provide great library facilities but after 1pm library is closed
Collage has not provide sports fastival like university sports game

In campus Cleanness and greenery I liked most
Most faculty members are highly qualified and experienced . They are very supportive also in non educational matters.

Dislikes

The campus lacks Morden amenities such as advance equipments , air - conditioned classroom.
In college does not have any mess and canteen facilities.
The lack of an on campus girls hostel that's why students need to spend extra time for travel

Our college offers placement facilities. Placement is available for students of 6th semester. The average package offers 3 to 4 LPA salary. The placement ratio is not much good. My plan after completing degree would be to get a good placement.
