Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Institute of Information Technology and Management Science Rourkela Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this college because of its good placement record, affordable fees and positive reviews from senior.i had applied to a few other colleges as well as but this one offered better faculty and infrastructure.

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

From final year students are eligible for campus placement. 4 companies visited for campus placement. 60-70% students get placement. 5lakhs per annum is highest and 4lakhs per annum is average package. Companies like Deloitte accenture has come in our campus. I would do a job as well as pursue MCA.

We have placement in BCA BBA in 4th semester, different companies likes Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Accenture etc... are offered to students, many internship and projects are made during our semesters. Average package is 2 lpa.

In 2nd year of my MBA I choose HR and Finance as my specialisation, because it is compulsory to choose 2 specialization and I also interested in these specialization, and my subjects and interest are also relevant to this specialization ...

I choose BBA as i have to go in the business management line . I choose this course because it was a easy course for low percentage children. The teachers and professors help a lot for the exams they explain everything in a detailed form and teach very well. Children's should be a good listener itself for a betterment . The exams are of 3hrs which is 1pm to 4pm and it is little bit hard

I choose this course because I want to get job in IT company. Student are high faculty needed to increase Faculty are also well qualified. Teaching skill also good, not bad. Exam date time and syllabus comes from sambalpur University Easy to clear exams.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Wipro, Infosys, cognizant, etc are the companies visited. About 30 to 35 % of students are getting placement. My plans are first I want to a job.

The placements of Dalits are good. I got plaed in Infosys. My friends got placed in Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, and other MNCs. Placement % is 35%. Excellent training is provided for campus placements. The highest package was 10lakhs per annum. After my degree, I will work in HR

The overall review of the college is very good. Everything is perfect here which a college needs to be. The faculties are very good and supportive. It gives a good studying environment.
