Nagesh Karajagi Orchid College of Engineering & Technology (NKOCET) is located in Solapur in Maharastra. The college was established in the year 2008 and is approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is affiliated to Solapur University, Solapur and run by The Pradnya Niketan Education Society, Pune - (PNES). All the First Year Engineering course is affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (BATU).
NK Orchid College offers Under Graduate (B.E.) of four-year duration and Post Graduate (M.E.) courses of two-year duration in various disciplines of engineering.
- Admission to B.E. program is done through MHT CET or JEE Main examination score followed by counselling conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
- Candidates who have passed the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board or its equivalent examination with minimum aggregate 50% of marks in subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational are eligible for admission in B.E. program.
- Candidates can also apply for direct admission to second year of B.E. program for which candidate must pass in Diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 50% marks.
- For Maharashtra candidates, 65% of seats are filled by JEE Main score followed by Centralized Assessment Process (CAP).
- Candidates either from Maharashtra state or outside Maharashtra state are required to appear in JEE Main entrance examination.
- Candidates applying through Institute level quota are eligible to apply if they fulfil the qualification criteria.
- Admission to M.E. program is done through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) entrance examination.
- Candidates who have obtained minimum 50% marks in Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology are eligible for admission in M.E. program.
- For sponsored candidates in M.E. program, minimum of two-year of full-time work experience in the relevant field is eligible.

The college offers M.E in Computer Science & Engineering, Structural Engineering, Thermal Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
NKOCET offers full time Master of Engineering (M.E) of two-year duration to the candidates who have obtained minimum 50% marks in Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from AICTE or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent.
Admission is based upon the marks obtained in the GATE exam followed by counselling conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
