IMI Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As IMI B was established in 2011, starting from then till 2022 the admission of the students have increased in good nos with good quality. This college provide an 90% placement every year with good statistics of companies & packages.

Placements are offered by the college. At the difficult year of 2024 there is only one placements are provided to 90% of the students. All the big brands like ICICI, HDFC, Cognizant, Infosys, PWC, KPMG, Dabur etc come to the campus and recruit good number of students.

After the 4th semester students are eligible to sit in the Placement Process starts from september. More than 70 campanies came for placements. Companies like Deloitte, Infosys, wipro, HDFC bank , IDBI Bank, ICICI bank, TATA Advance, Kotak securities, CCD, TCS, Amul and others. HIghest Package goes to 19 lakhs and average package is 11 lakhs along with 100% placement.

From 5th trimester the placement process starts. Volvo, Deloitte, Infosys, Taj, and many other good brands visited campus for placements. The highest package is from Nestle, with 20+L. College average package is 8-9 L

They are good and the experience they hold is really mind blowing i am so happy to have this level of faculty i am looking forward to choose specialisation in my 2nd year so for that i have to gain knowledge from them

I choose this course because it keeps changing as per the industry standards. There are more than 25 faculty for 360 students. Almost every faculty holds a Doctorate. Every 3 months term exams are held. Grades are given as per average of the class so it is not that difficult to pass.

Placement season is going well compared to other same-tier colleges, looking at the level of recession this year. After the 4th semester i.e. 2nd year student become eligible to sit for Final Placements. The placement rate is 100% every year. Prominent recruiters here are Infosys, Capgemini, Nestle, Dabur, Cognizant. Companies do visit with good packages and good roles. For Summer Internships, the opportunities are good. This year no ed-tech Company has been floated and almost all the batch is placed in companies like Capgemini, Dabur, Bajaj Finserv, Mahindra Holidays.

Final placements start from the 5th trimester, the highest package of last year was 17 lpa and lowest about 7 lpa. Summer internship is also provided by the colleges. The college has provided 100 percent placements till date

There is summer internship placements for first year students and final placements for final year students. Students are eligible for SIP from the first semester only and for final placements they have to complete their SIP, minimum 2 live projects and some other conditions too. Some of the companies that visited campus are Infosys, Dabur, Carnival group, PMCPL, Mahindra holidays, Bajaj, Zee media, Tata, Bercos, etc. Almost the whole batch is placed in SIP and final placements. I plan to work as an HR professional after the completion of my degree.
